O'Reilly's Pub began as an Irish Pub on the day it opened in 2004 however keeping up with competition and keeping a high standard has rendered O'Reilly's as one of Bugibba's best gastro/cocktail bars to date. Presenting live major sports events, Live music , friendly and cozy atmosphere, a wide selection of bar foods/nibbles and delicious innovative cocktails as well as a various selection of Foreign and local beers (mostly Belgian). Beer and cocktails

They have a great selection of beers and cocktails. Unfortunately the great IPA they had on draught, is no longer available. I hope they expand their draft selection with IPA's, pale ales and reds. Cocktails are reasonable priced and also available in larger sizes. The food selection was more limited than upon my last visit, but Covid restrictions may be the cause of this.

Best bar in Bugibba

Quite possibly the largest selection of beers I've seen in a bar in bugibba. Some personal favourites too (La Chouffe, Hoegaarden). Great top shelf selection. Sandro and Dario will both ensure you are looked after very well. I asked for the tortellini and was told the chef would be on at 5pm (this was at 1630). Not a problem, I'll wait, then Sandro told me he had made a mistake, the chef was on at 6pm so he personally cooked me a tortellini! That's service! Great, clean bar. Popular. Recommended

O'Reilly's Pub is located conveniently in St. Paul's Bay, making it a great spot for a casual drink or bite to eat. It has a typical pub atmosphere, but the fact it's built under old arches gives it a bit of unique character. Pub seemed really nice till the bill came. The drinks we ordered were more expensive than that was what stated on the menu that we were handed when we arrived. We spoke to the manager and they said they had implemented new menus that they had not given us with more expensive products…Instead of apologising for the mistake or offering the original price of the products they had shown us, he implied we were cheap for not just paying the bill, and said we shouldn’t order drinks if we couldn’t afford it. If we had received an apology, we would have been happy to pay the extra as that wasn’t the problem, it was the fact we had clearly been conned and the manager was very insulting about the situation, zero apologies, and zero customer service skills.

Nice beers on draft. A little more expensive than in othe pubs, but they are serving craft beers and an excellent IPA. Good service. And excellent cocktails. They have a food menu as well. Just the average pub grub, like burgers. Good if you want something to eat while drinking.

Nice staff, great experience!

We went there with our students for a drink on our second night in Malta and it became our evening HQs. Why? The friendliness of the staff (Dario and his dad), how they care about their clients, the great cocktails, and for the boys of my group, the soccer games on the big screens! Choice of music was perfect. They even arranged the place so that our students (52 of them) could dance on our last night before going back home. Nobody ordered food so I cannot comment on it, but, man, what fun for our students (and, let's face it, for the teachers)! Thank you!

The party pub 🥳

This pub is a must if you want to have a pleasant evening and party! It is also very nice to watch the various sports competitions which are broadcast in the evening. My friends and I spent very good evenings there with very friendly servers who know how to set the mood. Dedication to Dario. The cocktails are also delicious, don't hesitate, they are worth it! In short, this pub is a must for groups wishing to spend an atmospheric evening.

Yes what a pub Well bugibba does offer some good bars, well this is an exceptional bar. Located in a row of 3 bars this is far right. Obvious reason why this is always busy. The service is brilliant. there beer is cold and the cocktails taste amazing. The guy behind the bar has a great attitude, well all there staff do. Watching him spin cocktail shakers. They do have football on when it's on well what a night that was . I'm not a football fan but the atmosphere was amazing. We didn't actually eat here. But alot of people did and the food looked good and people didn't leave anything. Just don't think my liver would of survived if I started with dinner there. This is definitely a pub to visit while here

Great wee bar/restaurant

Friendly, clean and upbeat little bar in St Paul's Bay. Happy hour daily from 4 - 8pm. Made to feel very welcome. Good selection of both food and drink all reasonably priced

Opened especially for us.

The owner every kindly opened the pub especially for us to watch the rugby. We ordered 2 sharer plates, as there were 4 of us. There was enough food for 6 people! The food was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it. We had a lovely afternoon. Thankyou so much O'Reilly's.

Cracking Pub

Fantastic pub for drinks and cocktails to sit outside and watch the world go by or sit inside and watch the football on the many screens. Lovely inside and nice and cool. Had a pool table up at the back near the toilets. I believe they sell food as well. We only found this pub on our last day which is a pity as we probably would have come here most days or nights for a drink. Just a 2 min walk from the main square area. Owner was also really nice and made the effort to come chat with our group.

Top bar in Malta with a great owner

Definitely my top bar to visit in Malta. Highly recommend it. The owner is a sound bloke who knows his stuff. Friendly atmosphere inside, staff is always helpful. Great place to watch a game as well. Location is fantastic also.

Well what can I say fabulous food great cocktails and very friendly staff. If you are in bugibba this pub is a must for a visit anything like us we spent every night here. They have a large selection of spirits and you can watch any sport you like. I am going to miss this pub by far excellent.

Worth a visit.

A nice cosy bar with a wide range of drinks catering for every taste. There are a variety of sports to watch and some banging tunes to listen to...so why it lacked customers is a bit of a mystery to me. The staff are friendly and aim to please. The cocktails were delicious.
