We had been advised to eat here and went on our last night... Table booked for 830pm....seating prompt... Restaurant was half empty in "covered outdoor" area but very full in main dining room.... There was one waiter and we felt so sorry for him as he worked so hard and kep apologising to us...the owner/manager was sat at the computer... More

I can't really place the very positive reviews: In short, service is good, food is average, open on Mondays. They still serve the glass of prosecco, followed by an amuse, of which we doubted if it was home made. Starter, mussels in a spicy tomato sauce, was good. The steak was served well done, in stead of medium. The red... More

What a comfortable, friendly, delicious experience. The food was freshly cooked to order and was delicious and wholesome, we could not fault it. If you enjoy a malt whisky they have the best selection we have ever seen outside Scotland to enjoy after dinner. Could not fault it.

Very very poor service when it did'nt ignore you. The food was less then up to par. The service was all East Europe and very irritated from having to actually work a bit when they eventually got around to bringing the "food" to the table. Undrinkable house wine and over priced mediocre bottled whine. TOURIST TRAP! with a view (only... More

Been here a few times during business trips and the food is always good, the view of the valley below is just fantastic and the wine selection is just great. There are also a few rooms upstairs at a very reasonable price if you do not wish to stay at Palazzo Mannaioni where the wallet needs to be a little... More

Would not say the food was exquisite, but cannot say it was bad either. Service was fine, setting a bit outdated, food and wine were as one can expect in Italy. Not overwhelmingly surprised though.

We were recommended this restaurant by a shop keeper in San Gim who must have been a friend of the owner. Easy to park further along off the pavement. Great views over the valley. Service was good. Waiter went out of his way to explain dish constructions. Cannot say we were blown away with the quality of the food though.... More

Our tour group had the restaurant all to ourselves for a long leisurely meal. We started with a sparkling white wine - Prosecco di Valdobbiadene - served with potato dumplings in a cream of yellow sweet pepper sauce and pasta with tomatoes, aubergines and courgettes. All local and fresh. Our second "piatti" consisted of peposa alla medicea con polenta fritta... More

My husband and I went here during our European honeymoon, and so far - it is the best place we've eaten at. Food was fresh, true italian and delicious. The homemade pasta and gnocchi melted in our mouths. Service was amazing and our waiter was so friendly. After refusing dessert as we were too full, he brought us over two... More
