We planned a large event, the truck was scheduled to be there at 12:00. 12:05 no truck, no notification. I call the Short Pump store and all they could say was "We are doing the best we can". Eventually by 12:30 the corporation office calls...to notify me that they will not be coming. I was never notified by the truck that they would be late. Very disappointing... Several people were not able to eat.More

Ok hamburgers fries and service. Disappointed with the experience due to hype. Typical high noise level for type of restaurant.

Great burgers, onion rings and fries! Waiter was great, food took a while. Table was wobbly and bathroom dirty.

AWFUL! Let me start by saying, we LOVE the original location. I've been to the SP one one other time and I do not remember the experience. We ordered 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers my son got cheddar, bacon and beef burger, I ordered a bacon, blue...cheese crumbles, L,T burger. We asked for an order of fries to split and I asked for some "Old Bay and apple cider vinegar if you have those." Waitress said, the fries have "like a cajun seasoning but I know we also have old bay so I'll bring some and we only have Malt is that OK?" Yes that's great. Burgers come with out bacon, no vinegar or Old Bay with fries! I let the runner know what else we had asked for and she quickly says we don't have Old Bay the waitress shows up and says I'll get it. The manager comes back with a plate of bacon that wasn't cold but definitely not hot. Waitress comes back to say they don't have Old Bay- OK no big deal. I ask for utensils and that took 2 requests! When I finally get the utensils and prepare the burger it is NOTHING close to hot, MAYBE warm but as I told the waitress, it feels like you had the burger in a steam table and threw them on a bun. Manager comes by and says I'm sorry, I;ll take care of that for you. This wasn't why I told them it was warm, I told them because I used to run a restaurant and I would have wanted to know. She offered to replace them but my son had already eaten and I was 3/4 of the way done. She said "I'll take care of them for you". Waitress came back by and asked if we wanted anything else. My son ordered a chocolate milkshake and I asked for the check. Milkshake and check came, The milkshake was hardly blended, you got tastes of vanilla and then chocolate intermittently. Upon removing the lid it looked more like a coffee milkshake in color than chocolate! The check was discounted 10%! That's what you call taking care of 2 $8 burgers? (the total check after the discount was less than $24) I don't think so! They tripped and fell flat on their face with this one. No plans to return to this location.More

Went in with my daughter, her coworker, and service dog. Everyone was really kind and attentive. Each ordered burgers. One order of fries (good fries, but one order is enough for all of us). The order took a few minutes longer than what we would...have liked, but it was worth it. We’d come back when we’re out this way again.More

Lots of food for the price. Had so much left over, I ate on it later. Got it delivered. Thought it might take a while but it didn't. Great selection of many different tasty burgers and sandwiches.

I love Carytown Burgers and Fries and now that they're close to home, it's dangerous. They deliver - color me broke. The fries are perfect, the burgers are big and juicy with the best toppings. My entire family can eat for like $30....what's not to...like?!More

Took quite a while to receive our meals. All the of us were splitting a large fry. We must have gotten the bottom of the barrel as every fry in the basket was about 1" to 1.5" long (see photo). Burgers were good

Here's my pet peeve . . . I have to seat myself, get my menu, go up to order and pay right then, but am expected to tip either in the jar or on my credit card! The only thing that was done for me...was to bring the drinks and food to the table. Another peeve, no lemon for my sweet tea, only a little packet of lemon juice. The food was nothing special, EXCEPT for the size of the fries -- the helping was enough for 3 people!!More

I discovered this place during a lunch break at the hotel where our meeting was being held. I had a regular burger, fries and a soft drink. I noticed about 20 beer taps behind the bar. There is ample parking. There are wooden tables &...benches, round tables for a larger group and stools if you are by yourself. There is an outside dining area for good weather times. Today was not one of those days. My burger was good. The menu states that it is a 1/3 pound patty and I think that is pretty accurate. The meat was a generous size. The fries were hearty, a little thicker than many of the big chain burger places but not as large as most steak fries I have had. There seemed to be a slight seasoning in addition to the salt on the fries but it was subtle. The decor is somewhat laid back to the point I felt comfortable from the time I walked in the front door. The staff are up beat and friendly, ready to help you however they can. I was amused that the big-screen TV was playing cartoons during what obviously was a businessman's lunch time. I suppose they play local sports events at appropriate times. I was happy I found this place.More
