We fell lucky with every restaurant choice in Richmond and Tarrant's maintained the high standard. Great food served in really nice surroundings by friendly staff. Large beer menu with brews served in draft or bottles, some excellent choices. Recommended

Went here recently with a small group from the office. Parking was easier to find than I was afraid it would be. We were seated right away at noon on a weekday with no reservations. They brought waters to the table right away for everyone (why doesn't every restaurant do that??). Pretty much as soon as we were seated, we... More

We were shuttled to the restaurant by our hotel, where one of the front desk workers highly recommended Tarrant's. We arrived on a Wednesday night around 6:30, and there were plenty of tables to be had. The decor is charming. It's an old building that once housed a pharmacy of the same name, and is lit by many small chandeliers... More

Service was great, the food was mediocre. But the setting is cool and it's worth a visit for the experience

Great brunch! Only complaint was that it took a really long time to get our food. We did have a large table of 8 but no one came out and said anything about being sorry for the delay. I would go back and eat there again.

Just stopped in for a glass of wine. Excellent selection, environment and service. Great little gem on the corner. A short walk from our room at the Linden Row Inn. Made the start of our walk more enjoyble.

Stopped in Richmond for a day and went to brunch at Tarrant's Cafe. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived. Our server was cordial and attentive throughout the meal. Food was excellent and the mimosas were terrific. Would definitely recommend.

We have been going here for years since my daughter had a National Field Hockey tournament just up the street. I can say breakfast, lunch or dinner this place rocks. The food is spot on and the service always friendly. We even changed our flight plans recently to fly out of Richmond just so we could have dinner here one... More

The menu is good but the sailor sandwich is fantastic. Great atmosphere in an old drugstore. Quite affordable and a diverse menu. We enjoy going
