I placed my order today for the first time. I got a chicken salad sandwich box with yellow better chocolate cupcake, and macaroni salad. It was simply Delicious. I also purchased a roast beef sandwich box with potato salad and strawberry yellow batter cupcake. Saving...that for tomorrow. I will definitely be coming back again in the future.More

This place is a true gem, it always tastes so fresh and you never feel gross after eating here. The potato salad and chicken salad is the best in town. The lunch boxes are the best and you can get a little tart or a...cupcake, along with a deviled egg, sandwich and a side, great deal! Eat here!!!More

This restaurant was highlighted on an episode on Food Network and I decided to give them a try. They are only open on weekdays (believe they will have Saturday hours once it is warmer) and their hours are 10-5. For to-go orders, they ask that...you use their online service to order your food, but in my case, they were willing to take it over the phone (was in a bad cell service area and had little data). They serve the old 40s and 50s style boxed lunches which gives you a big sandwich and then a little bit of everything else. I got the egg salad sandwich, the famous potato salad and a pineapple cupcake. Also there was a cheese crisp with pecan and one deviled egg (half an egg). The potato salad is well worth the hype though the pieces of potato were smaller than I was used to. The cheese crisp was pretty good once I pried the pecan off. The deviled egg was heavenly and the cupcake was super fun being inverted and well coated in icing. As to the sandwich, the bread was super fresh and there was plenty of egg salad. The egg salad was good, but I think it needed a touch of salt and pepper to help bring out the flavor a bit. Overall a good experience and great food. Plus the young lady who took care of me on the phone and at the register was excellent, friendly and welcoming. Give it a try and take a step back in time.More

This place is a landmark! This was my first time in the new location. It is spacious, plenty of room to sit down and eat. The boxed lunches are awesome, but the cupcakes are heavenly! Lemon, chocolate, orange, caramel, double chocolate! You must have one...they...are iced on all sides but the bottom. Potato salad is a must have as well. Can't go wrong here!More

My first time and never again! Ordered fresh chicken salad sandwich on a fresh, non-refrigerated bun and put in a basket to eat inside; received pre-refrigerated, prewrapped sandwich placed in a to-go-bag, while my co-worker received hers on a fresh, room-temperature bun and served in...a basket. Cashier was argumentative and unwilling to accommodate me, and reluctant to give me a refund. Even had to ask for the tips back. Left hungry and mistreated.More

I make it a habit to refer this culinary jewel...but I was disappointed in Friday. I sent in an online order before service. I showed up 1.5 hours later...there was a line for pick up but NOT for my order. I was confused. I got...in the register line. It was slow...like usual. When I got to the register my order couldn't be found. I was disappointed. They did make the box. Ot was all good...but the pineapple frosting on the perfect cupcake was just green fluff. I wanted pineapple. I'll return but with aprehension.More

I am a fan of lunchboxes and Sally Bell's has one of my favorites! I came across Sally Bell's while watching the Food Network and I knew that I had to try them when I was in the area. Each lunchbox comes with a sandwich,...half of a deviled egg, cheese wafer, side, cupcake and an eating utensil. So, we ordered two lunchboxes and we had the tuna salad sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, potato salad, macaroni salad, chocolate/yellow cupcake and the pineapple cupcake. Everything was delicious!!! Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to SBK before it closed, so we asked them to deliver it to our hotel and it was there on time. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunchboxes!More

This has a place in history and has great food! I've never eaten pimento cheese before and it was great. The staff were very patient with us Northerners and helped us order. What a labor intensive menu with deviled eggs, upside-down frosted cupcakes, and the...sandwiches. The four of us got 4 different sandwiches and they were all good.More
