We had reservations due to the Christmas season. We were seated promptly. 3 of the 4 of us ordered the TJ blue plate which was wonderful. It was a sandwich with pimento cheese, apples, grilled onions and bacon on a thick bread. Each of us could only eat 1/2. I ordered fruit while the others ordered soups. We also have... More

We dined twice this trip....Thanksgiving evening and Sunday brunch. The food is spectacular.....the brunch setting is in the lobby of the hotel so that's a given that it's beautiful. I realize Lemaire is the star of this property but TJs could use some fluffing up and the noise level could be turned down a bit. The front desk people could... More

We where staying in the hotel and had dinner the previous evening in Lemaire, the hotels fine dining venue. For breakfast, we went to TJ's. It was outstanding, both in terms of food and service

We were in town for my husband's 50th high school reunion. As we were doing some sightseeing in downtown Richmond, we were limited to restaurants serving lunch on the weekend. We went to TJ's at the Jefferson hotel. I ordered the Grits with cheese and blackened shrimp. The food was served in a cast iron dish. The grits were dry... More

I chose to take a friend to TJs in the Jefferson Hotel for a special birthday lunch. Seated in beautiful red uphulstered wing chairs, we were treated wonderfully and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Never disappointing, always special.

Overall, the food was good. You must try the peanut soup! I have never had peanut soup before but it came highly recommended and it was amazing

This is the restaurant that is open for lunch in the Jefferson Hotel. While the restaurant is memorable, it is just a part of seeing this magnificent hotel. While meeting high standards, it is surprisingly well priced for the level of quality.

Stayed at the opulent Jefferson and thought we would have breakfast in style the first morning (and what could be easier when staying there?) but we were disappointed with the meal. I had simple eggs and potatoes with toast and sausage and it was (dare I say it): Dennyish. My buddy liked his breakfast scramble, but at $55 for a... More
