On our way through Richmond and had dinner at Perlys. One had the patty melt with pastrami and fries...very good. A step above your regular patty melt. Other had pastrami sandwich and a potato pancake. The best latka I ever had. Looking for a Jewish...More

We made a stop here on our way from Philly to Myrtle Beach and made a right decision. Matzo ball soup, cheese blintses, snitzel perelstein, bagel with lox, all were excellent.

Went for brunch on a Sunday morning and the place was full. Our hostess accommodated us fairly quickly while taking into consideration the two young kids we had. A great selection of cocktails. Try the Bloody Mary! Very spicy and nice. Ordered the corn beef...More

Making the excursion to Perly's is always worth the drive. It takes 99 minutes from door to door and the time just amplifies my anticipation. And when I arrive and put my name on the waiting list I can hardly contain myself (but I do...More

We stopped in for lunch just because the reviews were so good, and we were not disappointed. Because we saw food being delivered, we decided to share a Reuben and the big order of fries (they had a funny name, and now I can't remember)....More

We met my son here for lunch and the food was fantastic. The Rachel sandwich was flavorful and loaded with turkey with taste. Reuben and tuna schmaltz were evidently also great judging by my lunch companions' comments. It was a Monday at about noon and...More

We were driving through Richmond and stopped in at Perly's for lunch. It was outstanding. Perly's is basically a Jewish style deli restaurant like what you would find in New York City. The portions are enormous and the specialty sandwiches are delicious. Everything from their...More

What a nice surprise to find a place like this. So many appetizing menu choices. Had the Schnitzel Perlstein with breaded veal on top of whitefish and covered by two eggs. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Definitely a place to return. Staff was very friendly.

Took a friend from NYC here on our recent visit to Richmond, and everyone was impressed. The menu was extensive, everything we ordered was delicious. The service was perfect even though they were quite busy. It's a really cute old-school look with great food and...More

Stopped in for lunch with my daughter. She had the Rosengarten cocktail to start, I had iced tea, but sipped her drink, which was marvelous and refreshing. She had the Jewish Sailor and I had the Tuna Schmelt. We thoroughly enjoyed our specialty sandwiches. Server...More

I don't think so. At least not on the weekends during brunch. It gets very crowded so get there early on the weekends!

I would call but if they do take the group all at once you will split up into smaller groups. The restaurant has mostly booths with only a few tables. There is not enough floor space to sit all 24 in one group. As BMcH2014... More
