Old school Jewish deli that’s got a fun and adventurous menu. And it’s very popular, so go at an off hour or expect to wait for a seat. We tried various dishes and everything was delicious. Portion sizes are plentiful and prices are what you’d...expect for upscale Richmond. Looking forward to going there again soon!More

Honestly didn’t expect this place to be as good as it was. Very clean. Great energy, even better food! Try the corned beef hash and potato pancakes!

Has a great deli atmosphere and is super busy on the weekends for brunch. They don't take res so make sure to get there a big early if you have a big group.

We had gotten there on a Saturday morning and waited a bit for a table. Great decision. I had a hodgepodge of items from their menu (bagel, latke's ...etc.) and it tasted great ! Makes me wish we had a good deli in the town...I live in.More

Everything Perly's does is done extremely well. The place seems to be always busy - always a good sign. I'd give it six stars if I could.

This is Hidden gem in downtown Richmond. Don’t expect a traditional deli counter. To classify Perly’s as simply as a deli does it an injustice, at the very least it is a gourmet deli restaurant featuring long-standing Eastern European favorites. It is well worth a...detour if anywhere in the area. Hours are still reduced, 9 AM to 3 PM every day but there is no drop off in quality or the meticulous preparation and the dining room is open again. The potato latkes are excellent and form the basis of an exceptional dish, the ‘Benny Goodman’ topped with a perfectly poached egg and hollandaise sauce over top of the latkes and smoked salmon. Absolutely delicious. Other must try dishes include the Jewish eggrolls, the potato and duck pierogies and the cabbage rolls. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable given the high quality and labor-intensive preparation necessary for most of these classic recipes. Save some room for dessert. Carry out is available parking is limited on this stretch of Broad Street in downtown Richmond. Enjoy!More

First of all, the matzo ball soup was phenomenal! The rueben was to die for as everything else! It took about 10 minutes to get a table, and worth every minute. The decor is quaint and inviting - family friendly/oriented. I would definitely recommend this...place!More

Two of us ordered the corned beef hash which comes with 2 eggs and the Apple Waffles. We split both meals sharing the hash and eggs. The corned beef meal is heavy on the hash, lots of it, plenty to share. The 2 of us...should have made that the entire meal. Nevertheless, we moaned blissfully through the waffles also. Lots of very good apples too. We ate about 1/2 of the apples and most of the waffles. Get to Perly's before opening time, which was 9AM for us, if you want to be in the 1st breakfast seating. There was a line already formed when we arrived about 8:50AM. By 9:30 AM there was a line outside as we left. Service was fast and efficient and still friendly. It's on our RVA places to eat breakfast list now.More

Returned to Richmond and couldn't miss eating at Perly's again. It is a classic Jewish Deli. An institution in Richmond. Last time enjoyed breakfast but tried the pastrami on rye this time around. Perfection. As good as it gets.
