We were visiting VCU with our daughter, and Mojo's was near the parking garage where we parked. The menu looked good online, so we decided to give it a try for lunch. We were greeted and seated promptly, and our waitress took our drink and...food order very quickly. I had a turkey wrap, my husband had a cheeseburger sub and my daughter ordered a parmesan sub. We were all three pleased with our meals. The food was very good and the service was fabulous. We will definitely be visiting Mojo's again when we come to VCU.More
I had heard about Mojo's and their wings for years. My brother won a wing eating competition with them 10 years ago and I finally decided to give them a try when my usual place down the street was crowded.
I was very tempted to...get the wings, but thinking it was noon and I was planning to driving out of town afterwards, I figured I'd opt for what I thought was a lighter meal. I got the Texas cheesesteak. I couldn't stop eating it. Spicy, sweet, meaty, and cheesy. What's not to like?
My husband got the buffalo tofu sub. I tried a bite of it, it was also awesome. I definitely would have gotten that too, but I thankfully have better self control.
Will be returning to try the famous wings.
The only reason I didn't give it a perfect review was the service was a little slow, but we were there for the peak of lunch rush so that probably had an affect.More
This is a place that most of my friends like. It's cheap and fast. But I never seem to have any luck. Each time I have gone, my food has been pretty bland. I try not to go. Too many other great places in RVA.
My wife and I went to Mojo's for dinner before the season opening game for the Richmond Roughriders arena football team. We sat at the bar and ordered Mojo Philly steak sandwiches. They were delicious, had a lot of meat and were very filling. I...was in Philadelphia a few weeks ago and did not have a sandwich as good as we had at Mojo's. We enjoyed great service and had a tasty local beer. A great start for our night.More
This is a really noisy but vibey place. I had the budget burger with fries. The burger was small (as advertised) but fair in taste, the fries were cold and my Coke was weak. The Coke tasted like Coke flavoured water. I think the fries...would have been awesome if they were hot. There are many other places around if you are doing dinner before a show at the Altria Theater. The food was mediocre at best.More
