I loved the local atmosphere of Cary Street Cafe! The food was literally amazing - the loaded cheese fries and baked spaghetti made my life. We'll definitely be back!

I went here with my Mom for lunch. She recommended we eat here because they have delicious chili. Mom can be a picky eater, so you know the chili is great if she says so! I enjoyed the Brazilian Black Bean soup that had the perfect kick to it. They serve the soup with a good amount of chips as... More

Had a quick lunch on the way to the airport. Shared a burger and bowl of black bean soup. Both were excellent. This is a great local bar/cafe. Our server Maggie was very nice. Stop by for a visit.

The cafe is a smaller "neighborhood" type of bar/eatery with a motif of Greatful Dead oriented decor. Their menu features breakfast items all the time along with other sandwiches and salads. I had the "BARNYARD BRAWL" which is a Grilled Chicken sandwich topped with Bacon, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato and Mayo. My wife had the Black bean burrito. Both of us... More

Interesting small local tavern. Local music that was good listening and not so loud that you couldn't hear a conversation. Smoke drifted in from outside. Servers knew their local beers and the owner stopped by to small talk. A bygone era of friendly atmosphere with people that enjoyed interactions.

Enjoy some great food while watching a game on the screens. I recommend the chicken/bbq/salad. Nice barkeepers and easy access. Thanks for a great time :)

Was presently surprised by this quaint little place. We went for lunch and loved the appetizers, especially the duck egg rolls and the home made chips. The salads we had were ample and very fresh, even the salmon was cooked properly! We had more then enough to eat at a very reasonable price with vet good service. We'll worth another... More

We met some friends here for some drinks prior to our dinner reservations elsewhere. The staff is extremely professional and courteous, and we enjoyed our happy hour drinks. We did enjoy some live music from a lone guitarist, but the volume was too loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. The place is a bit dark inside, but... More

Oh my goodness! We went out of our way to visit the Cary Street Cafe because they advertised live music from 4 to 7 pm, and acoustic band, and the menu sounded reasonable. What we found was a sorry little bar with a few patrons sitting on bar stools, very shabby looking, and no music. Quite disappointing. We took one... More

Nice staff waited us on a rainy Saturday afternoon in April 2014. Floating around Cary street, this is a must stop just for the atmosphere alone. Nice area outside to sit in and inside is dark and nicely decorated. The folks who waited us were all just amazing and friendly and even though they were busy, took time to explain... More
