This was such a fun place to eat ~ we originally went because it was one of the restaurants listed on Guy's Diners, Drive Ins & Dives ~ but let me tell you that even he didn't do it justice!! What a great HUGE menu with new things on it that I never would have imagined! The portion sizes are... More

Delicious Breakfast-fast hot friendly! What more could you ask for! Corned beef hash with eggs cooked to perfection. Grits are creamy and cooked just right. Service is great!

Recommended by a friend who knows I love dining in RVA. The Village Cafe is an above average restaurant off Broad near the college. The staff was quick and attentive. The food was nice. Had the tuna club, standard wish the fries were not "factory fries" but all in all a good restaurant, and clean for a downtown establishment. Parking... More

After trying the milkshakes my kids decided there was no need to eat any of their food because they were already in paradise. I think the specialty shake vanilla base with toasted marshmallow and peanut butter blew them away. It's a good thing they didn't stick that thought because the food was darn good. We ordered a special order, the... More

The first time my family went to the Village Cafe, we had five different types of dishes. Each person had a great meal and the onion rings are to die for!!!

I had breakfast there on a Thursday, lunch on Friday and lunch on the following Monday. Each time we had very good food for the price and excellent service. Since I do not live close by I seldom get that way for dining out but hope to come back and enjoy the beverage selection at night time but need to... More

We went there for breakfast. The food is just average, the service is good, and the ice water comes in a pitcher with a straw with plenty of ice, which is nice. I don't recommend the "hash browns" as they are really mushy fried potatoes which I couldn't (wouldn't) eat.

Quick stop for breakfast with the family. The omelette was awesome! The girls loved the pancakes! It wasn't too far off of 95, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Had a turkey sandwich and it was very good turkey breast. Tasted freshly cut from own baked turkey. Big drinks. Very fast wait staff but some a bit scary looking. Very good prices and fun atmosphere for a college area spot.

Thank Gary H
