There were five people in our party and we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. There were two burners on the table but one burner was much slower to heat up than the other. Also one member of the party was allergic to seafood, not a...problem we would just use two separate burners. Well by the time the main course came the second burner was not working at all. We pointed this out to the waiter and he said he was check on us in two minutes, Ten minutes later when he had not came back I stood by the table and a gentleman came from the front desk to see what was wrong. I explained it to him and told him I had looked at the settings on our burner to see if it was the same as the other burner but I was afraid to touch it because it looked like the chord had been taped. He got the waiter and I guess he thought I could not hear him and told him I said I had tampered with the burner, I did not want to make a scene and ruin the party atmosphere but I told the waiter that a shrimp had been in our pot for 15 minutes and it still wasn't cooked. He fiddled with it for a while and said he would go in the back and try to fix it. This made no sense to me because the plug connects to the burner at the table and it was getting current because it would come on but go right back off. After another five minutes he came back and said it seemed to be working now. It wasn't so he jiggled the wire and the burner stayed on. Well half the table was done with their meal while the other half was still cooking their food. The desert came out and the guy cleared the table. I said can you please leave this burner on there is something wrong with it. He ignored me and turned it off. Dessert was served the burner again did not work but the waiter came back after five minutes and played with it until he got it to work. We asked for more pound cake and brownies and he brought them out frozen. A three hundred dollar meal and this is how we were treated. So I left a 10 percent tip and he had the audacity to roll his eyes at me. Would not recommend going here and Enrique, the waiter, needs to find a new line of work.More

Thought would be a nice place to celebrate my daughter Kelsey's 17th birthday. When my daughter and her friends returned they told me that they had been pressured into buying multiple expensive deals. The total came out to to over 250 dollars for four people....I don't mind spending a little more for a special occasion but the quality did not match the price. The cheese was nothing special, cutlery was dull, chocolate was good though.More

While the food and service were wonderful, I wouldn’t recommend this as a place for a romantic dinner. My wife and I had dinner there on our anniversary. We were surrounded by (1) a couple with a crying baby that they entertained with a loud...video and (2) a group of four loud and boisterous young women who seemed to have no awareness they were in a public place with other people. It was hard to carry-on a normal respectful conversation. I doubt we’ll go back.More

Not the greatest value but an awesome experience. Be prepared to hang out for awhile if you have more than four in your group. Service was a little slow on the Sunday Night we were there (I would've loved a cup of coffee with the...amazing chocolate course but our server never checked on us after she brought it) The food is always good. The pretzel bread in the Wisconsin cheese can't be beat. The Melting Pot is all about the atmosphere and the folks you are with. So, grab some good friends and have fun with it.More

Meal was good, the quality of ingredients was excellent. Service was very good. A tad pricey but for a fun treat it is a nice switch up.

My husband and I had an early four course dinner. We hadn't been in a while, but as usual, it was an amazing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our personal service and thoughtfulness of the staff in celebration our anniversary. We filled up with dippers in...the tasty Wisconsin cheese fondue. Secondly, a huge salad, that even my husband who hates salads devoured. Then we dined on the entree which included steak, chicken, pork and shrimp. Lastly, we made room for our favorite chocolate fondue, bananas foster! We enjoyed that they kept us in a private area, where we could enjoy our time together.More

Me and my boyfriend went to celebrate our 1st anniversary. The 4 courses were 45 dollars and with that price I thought it would be an abundance of food. Well. First off Course 1. 2 to 3 pieces of bread, apples, and raw veggies with...some fancy cheese. This was fine. The cheese we got had a weird taste to it but we just should've ordered a different cheese. Our bad for being too adventurous. Course 2. A tiny little salad plate that I wouldn't consider a course. It's really just a glorified side salad. Course 3. They give an arrangement of the tiniest slices of meat you ever saw and tell you to cook it yourself. We chose to cook it in this broth which probably wasnt the best choice but we did. After trying to cook everything properly we enjoyed subpar meats chopped into tiny pieces with our only side items being boiled potatoes and broccoli that was just sitting in the pot with your raw meats. Not a fan Course 4. The only course that was perfect. I would solely come back just for this. Screw everything else here. The chocolate is all you need. I got the bananas foster. Am not even a fan of bananas but that bananas foster was 11/10. They gave you as many fruits rice crispies pound cakes brownies etc that you could want and it was amazing. So long story short. We spent 130 dollars (including tip) for a good dessert and for sub par courses of food you had to cook yourself. If you're going to come, just get dessert. Maybe get the cheese too but choose wisely! Service was good though!More

FYI: The first thing everyone should know is that you cook your food at your table. This is the first fondue restaurant I've ever been to, so I'm not sure if this is how it is done at other fondue restaurants. Review: Service was impeccable....Our waitress was patient as we had lots of questions because the menu offerings are very confusing for first timers. She also made sure out drinks were refilled and did whatever she could to make our dining experience pleasurable. Apparently, this establishment is know for its service and I can see why. The first course was a plate of bread and veggies for dipping in the fondue. It was great and we all enjoyed it. The snag came when order the second course. We decided to cook our food using a cast iron skillet placed on the table (You can also choose the option of boiling your meats in oil or broth). The issue for us was the skillet was very small for four people. It took us about 30-40 minutes to cook our food and make sure we all got enough. If you are a with a group of people or a family that doesn't like to talk, this may not be the best option for you. Again, our waitress was there to help and answer any questions we had. An important point here is not to order or eat too much. Start with ordering less and then you can always add another meat selection. And most of the meats were very flavorful. BUT SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT. Dessert: Five stars out of five. We chose the milk chocolate with caramel mixed in. Just delicious and they'll bring you another board of treats to dip or drizzle if you still have chocolate left in your fondue pot. If you are a first timer, be patient and save room for dessert. Enjoy!More
