We took our family ranging from 70+ down to 13 here for dinner. Everybody found a pizza to like and share. The final pizza was a Sam ore pizza for the table. A great way to end the meal on a real sugar high,

Large pizza slices that make a meal. Spinach salad is excellent, Trains going by on an elevated track make it interesting.

Bottom's Up offers a nice selection of traditional and not-so-traditional pizzas. You can order by the slice (slices are huge) or a whole pie. They offer numerous unique combinations in thin and regular crusts. The beer selection is ample, and service was really good. Definitely check this place out if you're in Shockoe Bottom.

I was in Richmond for the Anthem 1/2 Marathon. After running 13.1 miles, a good pizza fit the bill. Bottoms Up was a 2 minute shuttle ride from my hotel. When I arrived with my wife and daughter for dinner, we were told it would be about a 30 minute wait. There was only one other party waiting and a... More

This is off the beaten track, but it was within walking distance of our hotel. A great place to stop if in the Shockhoe Bottom area. This is a family style (and I believed owned) restaurant that seems popular with locals. There are a good variety of options for pizza toppings as well as several unique Signature pizzas and a... Loved the pizza and salad we got - nothing super fancy but all of it was fresh and my husband liked the craft beer list. Nothing super special about the decor - this might be one area they could be a bit more unique. But, it was fun to sit outside upstairs and watch the trains go by. Could be... More

We went to Richmond, VA to take a stroll on the Canal Walk which is located across from the restaurant. Before taking a stroll we decided to eat first so we choose Bottoms Up. Very chic restaurant. The food was delicious. The salad was crisp and the pizza was delicious. Would go again.

I had medium pizza to share with my husband. The pizza crust was actually lighter than it looked. Overall it was a good pizza! I would like to try the thin one next time. The only thing is the cleanliness. The floor and table wasn't too clean.

This is my first time having "Richmond style" pizza. The sourdough crust baked in a real wood oven was thick but not doughy and had a good crispy outside. The sauce was flavorful and the toppings were fresh and balanced well with the amount of cheese. This was for a guys weekend and four of us were able to share... More

My brother was in town for his birthday and we just wanted somewhere casual with great food. This was definitely it. We shared the Renegade pizza with parmesan white sauce, crabmeat, spinach, and artichokes. We decided on tomatoes in place of the broccoli, but the pizza was fresh and delicious. The crab meat pieces were very generously sized, the sauce... More
