Might be a bit expensive and hard to get reservations, but who cares. When you do decide to suck it up and go you will be glad you did. Service A+, Food A+, Ambience A+. Nothing more to say.

I have been fortunate enough to dine at the Jefferson for over 15 yrs. I am never disappointed and compare brunch everywhere else to it. Simply put, it ranks with great brunches anywhere. The menu, the presentation, the service and the attention to detail are perfect every Sunday, every month of the year, year after year.

The Jefferson is a jewel! It is breathtakingly beautiful and the setting is so majestic that you feel like royalty. From the white table cloths, silver chaffing dishes and impeccable service champagne brunch at the Jefferson is a very special event. The food is perfectly prepared (not easy to do on a buffet style setting) , while you serve yourself... More

the food was under and overcooked. They lost my reservations and I only had a limited time to eat. Never again!

Brunch at the Jefferson is a dining experience that I have looked forward to enjoying for a few years since discovering Richmond, Va. Sunday, I was able to get a reservation about a week in advance for a mini family reunion. We were driving over an hour so the 1:30 brunch seating was a good dining option for us. The... More

The grace of old Richmond, as you might say "I'd like to been a fly on the wall back in the early 1900's to see the dress, grace and elegance of it all" Every time we've been to the Jefferson for Sunday lunch it has been wonderful, the staff, the variety of different foods all nicely laid out.

I didn't realize that places still offered such elegant brunch options. Reminded me of the Peacock room in NY and Chateau Elan in GA and the Four Seasons in Atlanta.
