Ethiopian food is eaten with the fingers. You pick it up in pieces of injeera, a spongy, delicious bread somewhat like a crepe. As long as you're ok with that you're going to have a wonderful dining experience. We went with a Meep Up group of 8 people who are all adventurous diners and we got everything we hoped for.... We (27 and 28 years old) had never eaten Ethiopian food. The waitress was able to recommend the Meat Plate: Awaze Tibs, Keye Saga Wot, and the chicken tibs, though it is possible we had ordered lamb. As a vegetable we ordered the curried carrot and potatoes. It comes served with a sour-dough-crepe-like bread that is the spoon for the... More

Great food and great service. The staff is very helpful and they will make suggestions. The honey wine is great and the coffee is wonderfully strong. Chicken, lamb, beef and veggies very savory. The manager/owner even remembered me making the reservation. Will definitely go back. Reminds me of soul food, the cabbage and carrots, braised collards and potatoes and carrots... More

Had a great birthday dinner here with son and grandchildren. Fantastic vegetarian menu as well as meals with fish, poultry, lamb and beef. Our party of six had sambussa, which the two grandkids love, shiro wat, veggie combo platter, and shrimp tibs. Everything was prepared well and delivered quickly, a plus since kids were very hungry. Good draft beer selection... More

Went here to celebrate my birthday on a Wednesday night after the holidays. It was mostly empty but not because of the food or service. It was just a fluke. Our server Blain explained the food and what was good to share. We ordered an appetizer called sambussco or something like that , which was lentils in a fried pastry... More

Great food, great service. The waitress was friendly, helpful, and very patient when my kid took forever to decide! We had a mixed group of vegetarian adults, and kids, and one meat eater. Great food.. The injera was fresh and tasty. We ordered the vegetarian platter to share- all 6 choices. Liked all of it, adored the Misir Wot, (spicy... More

I've been to Ethiopia once but because we had to play it safe with the food, I didn't really get a chance to experience the local cuisines. So I was delighted to find this restaurant and went here without even thinking twice. This food at this place is amazing. Their portions are huge and enough to feed two people. At... More

Took my sister and brother-in-law for their anniversary and first taste of Ethiopian food. I was very pleased, the food was exactly what I expected, and of equal quality and value to what I have had in New York and Boston. My family were impressed. To top it off, the owner brought a honey and hops wine to us at... More

Our first experience with Ethopian food. Service was excellent - friendly staff and the owner was there to greet us. Food was excellent and eating from a communal table was fun. We would definitely go back. Yummy!

Wife and I decided not to prepare Christmas Dinner this year. Instead we went to the Addis Restaurant. What a great experience! We started with two fabulous appetizers. My wife had the Sambussas and I had the Katenya. The Sambussas is a shell with lentils fried crispy. The Katenya is injera with a spicy Bebere sauce and Ajib cheese. A... More
