Stopped at this quaint building to check it out. Everything was sorta natural and on the healthy side. We had a berry smoothie that was very good. Several small fruit cakes were very nice also. I was most interested in the item on the wall shelves for sale. There was wines and home made jellies, sweets and various drinks.

Just stopped in for a healthy lunch. Farm-to-table type of menu. Order at the counter and they call your name when your food is ready. Seats are hard so unless you are able to grab one of the cushiony seats you'll eat and go.

Cute and inviting corner cafe. They need to have a sample of foods in a display case though. I almost walked right back out the door before I spotted the menu on the counter. They offer far more food choices than I thought when I just walked in. Loved the platter "This snd That, a scoop of tuna salad, scoop... More

Light breakfast.....then a half-soup and salad......then coffee....etc....etc. It is so convenient to everything in Shockoe. Everything is fresh and made on the spot. Locals, professionals, visitors all flowing through is a bright and friendly mix. It just feels right.

First visit here. Nice place but the cost of food for what you get is outrageous. I ordered a grilled cheese and tomato and I literally got a small grilled cheese with ultra thin tomato's. For $10, I was expecting something bigger or at least chips or coleslaw etc. Worse is that they over grilled the sandwich and was borderline... More

Took a group of teens there on a trip - they were out of almost everything (no ice cream, smoothies, espresso etc). This left water, chai and bottled drinks. Was hoping for more choices but the iced chai was fine.

This place was bustling and was really the best option for a morning meal of substance within any distance of our hotel, so we hit it up. There was a bit of a wait to order and to get food, but it was the best coffee (not saying that much) we had while in town. I got a ham &... More

Very promising looking place drew me in, expecting a something above average. Got a tarragon tuna salad sandwich for $10. The tuna seemed completely undressed, and although I could detect a hint of taragon, it was devoid of other any other flavor notes, including salt. I did like the sliced carrots, apple, and pear that came with the meal. But... More

The Jefferson Hotel courtesy shuttle dropped us off at this surprisingly quaint and home like restaurant. They don't cook from scratch to order, but their paninis are great. They use all natural and farm-to-table ingredients. I like the OJ from Trader Joe's. The atmosphere is magical with the art on the walls and the live music.
