Went there twice for dinner with family. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The mussels were wonderful as was the grilled local fish my son ordered. The fresh pasta with sardines was like mama used to make. Dessert was freshly made casatelle. Food nirvana!

From the first night we dined at the restaurant to the last which was all of ten nights, we couldn't have been better looked after. From the carpaccio of swordfish and tuna to the prawns with pistachios truly memorable. Now home trying to replicate them . Thank you once again.

These people are great, make you feel welcome and the meal is good. The prices are little too high for the quality provided, but it's still ok. I had swordfish steak which was good, but I had also Spaghetti Carbonara, which for one thing are not even close the local culture and eating habits, but were even not that good.... More

Our second visit to this restaurant this year was disappointing. Meals not bad, but service is slow - I waited my mussels about an hour. Looks like waiter just forgot about my order while serving other clients. And the main point - staff confirm possibility when we asked to pay by card. But then imitated problem with wireless terminal even... More

Food: tasty and simple Sicilian food. Our menu included mussels which were offered with a range of Italian sauces. Premises: our table was in the outside terrace, with an amazing view over the local harbour. Service: quick, kind waiters. Price: very fair, you get value for your money (as well as a 10% reduction on the "alla carta menu" if... More

Ristorante Cozzeria Solemare cooks classical Sicilian/Italian complemented with several special mussels dishes, of which we tried the Basil Cream/Orange Ginger and two more variants during the four times we at there about a week ago. We ate and also liked several other dishes made from few but very fresh ingredients, so simple as far as composition, but very tasty. We... More

Our best dinner in Castellamare del Golfo! The little patio is set up across the street from the restaurant on the beach. The service was great and the seafood very tasty. They took good care of the children that were with us as well, and didn't seem to mind when the kids went down to the beach to play while... More

Definitely one of the places worth visiting when in Castellammare! The good: * Great food * Ok prices * Beautiful view * Nice staff The not-so-good: * Can get a little loud (there are a lot of other restaurants around, kids, and street musicians - it's all nice and vibrant but it's noisy if you're not into this kind of... Description
Restaurant in an enchanting corner of the Marina. Interior room small and cozy, out a nice gazebo and a terrace on the beach with great views of the Castle and the bay. Simple, clean, and note of merit the open kitchen. Restaurant prevalently based on fish. Appetizers, first and second, all cooked with simple recipes and genuine. Specialties: mussels cooked with different recipes. They are tasty dishes even for those who do not like fish. Quiet atmosphere and courtesy.
