Not a bad place to sit at the bar for a couple beers and some apps. I've only sat in the pub area and I found it to be a expensive meal and just so-so

First time to Cobblestones, and I must say it was a wonderful place to get dinner! The service from Sean was outstanding; he was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Sean helped us select a wine that paired perfectly with our meals, and he was always there if we needed anything. He made our anniversary dinner a very special evening. Keep... More

I wasn't impressed. I ordered the crispy salmon sandwich and it was some type of breaded sandwich. I couldn't taste or see any salmon. My son had the vegetarian chili. He seemed to like it. The waitress was really nice.

In town for a convention and we were looking for something we could make a reservation to try and beat everyone on the dinner break. Found Cobblestones and chose to eat here based on being able to make a reservation through Opentable. Boy are we glad we chose here. We got seated right away. Everyone through the whole dinner was... My daughter and I were very impressed with the historic building and friendly service. The Fish and Chips were amazing, the cod was light and the Mac and Cheese was creamy. ...just great gourmet comfort food!

Moved to Lowell last year and took us a while to get to Cobblestones. Boy were we missing out. The bar area is a classic and always has some of the best craft beers on tap. Literally had the bartender tell me that they go out of their way to seek beer vendors that have exotic craft beers and the... More

We had a late 8:30 reservation. We ordered an appetizer however it took 30 minutes to arrive only to be immediately followed by our entrees. We had said to the waiter several times that we wanted the app before dinner arrived. He apologized but never offered to comp the appetizer. As a result most of it was untouched. The menu... More

Great surprise in the heart of Lowell. Beautiful old building with great meals and awesome staff that is very knowledgeable of menu especially for those with food allergies including celiac and gluten sensitivity. The only recommendation would be to have gluten free rolls for the many burger options. I'll be back for sure on my next trip from Philly.

we went there as a group of 7 and tried a variety of appetizers as well as drinks and dinner - uniformly good food, although a bit on the high side (our tab for a total of 8 alcoholic drinks, 3 apps, 7 dinners, and 2 desserts came out to $70 pp with tax/tip!) which prevents me from rating it... It was a nice night and we happened to be in the area for an event. We liked the idea of sitting outside and this place caught our attention. You may need to wait for a table, but we were lucky enough to get one right away. Our server, Brendan, was really great! He was on top of our drink... More

With most of the original architecture intact, COBBLESTONES Restaurant offers a variety of dining and drinking options, modified for modern use. What was once the "Grand Billiard Hall" is now the main dining room. The original library has given way to a private dining room seating 20 and is adorned with twin fireplaces while the upstairs sleeping rooms have been opened up for two beautiful function rooms. The original dining room, where "the gentlemen" enjoyed a brandy and cigar is now a separate pub with a vast selection of martini's, classic American cocktails, draught beers, and a predominantly American Wine list. COBBLESTONES Restaurant cuisine combines both traditional comfort and regionally inspired American fare alongside contemporary selections. Our many steaks are hand cut and our seafood is delivered fresh daily. All soups, sauces and desserts are made fresh, "in house" every day. Please visit COBBLESTONES Restaurant where our welcoming staff carries on a tradition of excellence and hospitality. Committed to our guest's satisfaction, we will always strive to exceed your expectations!
