Nicely situated between the sea and the lake. The view, over one of the canals where they grow various kinds of sea food, is great. The atmosphere pleasant, even with the radio on. Unfortunately, there is only one menu on offer, so one antipasti, one primo piatto and one secundo pi atto. The antipasti, a seafood salad, seems to come... More

Set menu for seafood lovers. You pay the price (EUR 38/pp) but you will get A LOT of fresh, lovely seafood based plates. Nicely located near a beach. Bit hard to find.

I was in in Arbatax for vacation and eat in this restaurant for dinner Saturday before Easter with some russian friends. Food is Ok. The antipasti are very good, but Primi are very poor with little taste of fish on them. Secondi are not amazing, but still Ok. The price you pay is quite a lot for what you get.... More

Lovely seafood meal, only from fresh fish. One menu is availabe, but this includes 6 different starters, served at one time altogether. Then, 1 main pasta dish and a second main dish with fish. After that, the prawns and shrimpS dish is optional. The whole menu was simply amazing. The atmosphere is very simple, but still very nice and somehow,... More

My rating may be viewed as a little mean as whilst I enjoy seafood I'm not a connoisseur and therefore was conscious this choice was on the risky side. Plenty of variety in the set menu with 5 small starters and 2 further courses which left me a little on the tepid side but I'm sure would be more agreeable... More

A family runed restaurant. Typical italian, no nice looking plates or luxury chairs. No, good taste and enough food with every dish. Fresh fish only! One menu, now 38 euro. No dessert, only a scropino and coffee with limoncello and mirto. The way to the restaurant in through a industry area, but the restaurant is located in front of the... More

The restaurant is set in a lovely bay. We had a.truly amazing meal at this restaurant. We went for the set menu €38 per person and it really worth every penny!!! We had 10 fish starters, spaghetti with clams, for mains seabass and monk fish with rosted med veggies, 1litre of local white wine and water. For dessert lemon sorbet... More

La Capannina is a special and amazing restaurant located in front of the beach between the sea and a pond. It's a wonderful place! Fresh fish is cooked in according of Sardinian tradition. Great and imaginative appetizers, pasta with mussels, shrimps, cuttlefish...!! Always generous portions! Sardinia is not only wonderful sea but also great food! Congratulations!

fixed menu which is not a problem in itself. the problem is that the style of cooking was oily and heavy, the fish was covered by strong condiments. the service was ok, nothing bad, nothing special.

This family run restaurant really impressed on every level. The greeting for lunch was super friendly and the waiter even moved our reserved table outside ( by carrying it with another staff member) when we looked like we might prefer the ocean view. The food was world class. I am in the travel and food business and this was a... More
