We ate her in June, and because of the lack of communiaction (our fault) this fantastic meal could have been better. We went for the tasting menu, but ended up ordering more than we needed. The food was fantastic and the service from the chef/owner was first class. The fish soup was exceptional.

By far the best restaurant in Trani. An artist with taste and hospitality. This is our second visit this week and we will be back next tuesday for another gastronomic expedition

Visited this restaurant on Tuesday evening on the recommendation of a friend. It was a lovely experience and the food was great. The owner took time to explain his creations to us and made us feel very welcome which made this experience special.

This small restaurant near the castle is almost solely run by Michele the owner, a truly inspired chef. Seeing our basic Italian, he described every dish and every ingredient but in the end we just followed his suggestions. Everything we ate was an eclectic mix of taste and texture that all worked wonderfully. If we had to pick favourites they... More

NOTE: TripAdvisor map shows a false location. The best way to find is to go to the castle first, then 100 m inland, on the left. The sign is hard to notice, and all seats are indoors. The place is very small, only 8 tables for 2 with stylish, modern interior, not very romantic though. Owner is a 30-yr-old guy,... More

Truly delicious food (refined but not over-complicated), excellent and attentive service, very elegant surroundings and exceptionally (almost incredibly) good value. The setting of Trani's sea-front restaurants may be superficially more appealing, but this is without doubt the place to go. I would go so far as to say it would justify a detour to Trani just to eat here.

Late May 2013: whilst staying in Trani came across this truly amazing restaurant - definitely worthy of a Michelin star - food exciting and delicious and the chef and staff were so enthusiastic and genuinely happy to be preparing and serving wonderful unique dishes. A delight - this is the first time I have recommended anything on Tripadvisor.

Had an astonishing meal at Diavoletto Epicureo, in another league entirely from anything I've eaten in Italy (lived here 23 years) – highly imaginative dishes, exquisitely presented and a tour de force for the taste buds. Exceptional! The serving staff and chef are passionate about food and keen to make sure customers are happy. A truly memorable meal although I... More
