Excellent sea food restaurant overlooking the nice and quiet Trani touristic harbour . We had dinner inside as it was windy and the place is really cool and well kept. Outside they have a big terrace with a great view of the Trani splendid cathedral. Sea food is super fresh and very tasty. Sure this is not-on-a-budget restaurant but the... More

If you are visiting Trani, this little city park is worth a visit, it will offer you shade in the hot days, a beautiful view from the top that goes from Bisceglie to our coast. It is worth a visit .

We dined there on a Monday night, when most places are shut so we were glad of the opportunity to enjoy the view and the food on a fairly quiet night. The food is outstanding, at Michelin level I would say. The fish is fresh and really tasty; the favour coupled to perfection. We had the "quick" tasting menu which... More

Set in the old fortress guarding the harbor of this charming town, Le Mapare al Fortino is a real find. At lunch, we sat so that all four of us had a view of the water and cathedral. The service was elegant and solicitous, and although food emerged relatively slowly from the kitchen, one could tell this was because whoever... More

An absolutely beautiful location and though the food is fine - it is quite expensive and in my opinion not that interesting. The raw fish was indeed very fresh but not very flavorful and too much in the way of bland cheese preparations with the food. Lovely service and very good local wines.

A few weeks ago, some colleagues and myself stopped for lunch at Le Lampare al Forno while in Trani for a meeting. Let me just start to say the site itself is stunning, a former church turned fort turned restaurant, simply impressive. Yet with such a history the building is clean with modern white table cloth finishes, settled right in... More

We were in Puglia and decided to take Mario Batali's recommendation of Le Lampare. Just a visit to this lovely port town is worth it. And with a restaurant like this, a win-win. The inside is beyond words. It is one of the loveliest restaurant interiors I've ever seen. The stark white stone and classic updates make it one of... More

The location is glamour : an ancient church/fort at the entrance of Trani's harbour. The environment is high end thanks to a modern study of interior design. The cuisine is based on fish and the quality is good with a particular attention to the dishes presentation.

The restaurant is located in the old port of Trani on a former fort with a terrace from which guests can have an stunning view onto the cathedral and the port. The environment is high-end and very romantic and the welcome is inviting (glass of Franciacorta and interesting home made breads). The menu is based on sea-food with emphasis on... More
