Both before and after we ate there, people expressed surprise we got a reservation. I like to think it was my Trip Advisor level 5 status that got us in, but really it was a Monday night in August and we were willing to take an early reservation. But now I see what the fuss is about. Great food, service,... More

We had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Waiter was delightful, knowledgeable, attentive. Food was exceptional from start to finish. Homemade pastas, spelt fusilli, eggplant mezzaluna and pappadelle with wild boar were our selections. Each was great. Prosciutto de Parma with grilled peaches was a sublime appetizer. Pistachio gelato and rhe chocolate terrine finished off our superb meal.

We had a gift certificate for Giulia and were eager to try it, but found it virtually impossible to get e reservation at a decent time. Finally got one at 8:45 on a Friday and took it even though much later than we ordinarily eat. The food itself was very good and reasonably priced. However we did not find it... More

Is a a small space and really hard to get a reservation. Thirty days out we could only get a 5.30 pm on a Saturday evening in August. The space is well designed as contemporary and the staff are nicely attired. The service is professional, a bit brusque, and with a very keen eye to keep you going so that... More

This is thoughtfully prepared Italian food, with an emphasis on thoughtful preparation rather than showmanship. The food has a warmth and subtlety to it; the surprises are in choices of how to cook something, rather than how to present it; the tastes run in this delicious zone between rich and rustic. The papardelle with wild boar is a standby; the... More

I have been wanting to go to Giulia's for a while, but our usual last minute travel plans haven't given us the opportunity to make reservations - which are very necessary for a group or anyone not looking to sit at the bar. However, we were able to plan ahead for our most recent trip, and were able to get... More

What a fabulous meal! We were a group of five and shared smoked mozzarella, little semolina cakes, warm olives and amazing bread for starters then four of us had the boar as we'd heard so much about it and were not disappointed! It was absolutely delicious, so full of flavour! The fish tasted great too! We had a fabulous girl... More

We got a reservation! I'd read the reviews that said book a month in advance. But this excess of demand has caused the front of house staff to become jaded and rude. We had to wait for the previous diners to finish eating - no hardship - but then they left us standing while serving drinks and seating others who'd... More

Seat by the door was problematic on a cool windy night. Food is very good. Not typical Italian portions so get a few small plates and antipasto. Semolina cakes were very tasty. Olives and almonds very flavorful. Flatbread had great pesto flavor. Smoked mozzarella was very tasty. Had the ravioli. Very good. Several flavors going on.
