The pizza is very good. Other choices vary--depending on how busy they are and who is cooking that day--it's uneven. Lively bar scene! Can be noisy in the front unless you get a booth. The back room/space is quieter and has huge windows. Service is unobtrusive and generally well-paced.

If you want to grab a slice on the run, go to 'nocs. But if you want to sit down, have a beer and a chat, and enjoy a fancy pizza - this place is perfect. The best pizza is the chicken one. I also like the view out the back of the graveyard.

Stopped in by chance on the way to Sinclair's. Very pleasant, helpful server. Unbelievably fast service and excellent pizza from a unique variety of large personal pies. You won't be disappointed.

Cambridge 1 was on a list of restaurants I received from my hotel, so I gave it a try for an early dinner during a recent stay in Cambridge. The location is great, just a short walk from the heart of Harvard Square. It wasn't very crowded when I went, but as I said, it was a bit early. I... More

Nice setting not many ppl. Delicious and friendly waiters. I'm traveling from Chicago and the thin lobster pizza definitely blew my mind.

A friendly pub atmosphere, with a small menu of salads, unusual pizzas and some pasta dishes. Good place for a quick dinner that is unusual and convenient.

This place is better than average pizza places but it is not so fancy in therms of taste and variety on the menu. Could be a lot more exotic for the location and competition around Harvard Square. They are clean and nice but need a bit more audacity on the menu, including more choices for people who do not want... More

Was looking for an easy place to have dinner by myself after arriving in Cambridge for work the day after. I was early on a Sunday night and seating was arranged with choice for table or at the bar at my own preference. I preferred the bar. I was set up with water and very nice crusty cheese straws. I... The toppings are interesting and yummy, and the crust enticingly thin. If you're into puffy doughy thick crusts, you may have to enlarge your horizon, though you may find yourself really enjoying yourself. Although the primary items are pizza, this is not a pizza joint, meaning that it's a bit more expensive. The service is good, the decor is elegantly... More

The variety of pizzas is impressive and their taste can't be beat. The crust is thin and often cooked till it's color is rich and at it's fullest flavor. The ingredients are fresh and of good quality. Cambridge 1 is spacious, the room is open to contrasting views--one bucolic, the other typical Cambridge street scene. You may sit at the... More
