We went to this restaurant at lunch time and ordered lunch boxes and noodle soup. The lunch boxes were indeed spicy but in an authentic way. Looked like a popular place!

The location is across the street from the Smith Center and within a few mins walk from Harvard Square Station. The place is popular for weekend lunch and there boat soup with pork, less than $11 in price is good value. The broth has a...nice intense flavor but not too spicy. The appetizer chicken wings was a disappointment though.More

The food was delicious and promptly served and the environment pleasantly conducive to conversation. But one star short of a perfect score because the waitstaff were not professionally trained. Nice young men and women, one and all, and they let us sit and talk as...long as we liked, which was very kind. But they clearly had little clue as to what should be involved in table service. Nobody did anything wrong, per se, so no real complaints. More like a "This is how you could raise your grade from a B+ to an A" kind of comment.More

We chose this place because of its location and vegetarian option. Though we were a party of 7 on a Saturday night, we were seated fairly quickly. Food was excellent. Service was fine. This would not, however, be a spot to have a conversation over...dinner as the place was quite crowded and noisy. Truly, the spacial distance between tables is quite narrow!More

We got takeout. I picked it b/c it was fairly close to where I was staying in Somerville and they have free delivery if you order over $20 worth of food. I ordered pad thai and pad see lew both w/ tofu. Unlike its name...the food was fairly bland. The mango chicken didn't have any noticeable amount of mango. This was a little spicy and had more flavor. The Massaman curry w/ tofu was also fairly mild flavored. The pineapple fried rice was tasty but the portions were modest. It came w/ 2 smallish boxes of white rice. I was not asked if I would prefer brown. I'm not sure if that option is available. It took 40 min to get the food - 20 min for pick up although the restaurant was listed as being less than a mile away on google maps. So many good options in town, I'm not sure this would be my first choice for Thai food.More

Where to start; hmmm? Seems to be family operated and congregating in booth, ignoring patrons. The host immersed in mobile phone, was oblivious to customers wanting to order. 1 of the family members left the restaurant, returning with a dozen doughnuts and an oblivious young...lady server came to table with and chewing on a partially-eaten doughnut in hand, while trying to refill glasses — an amazingly perturbed service model! The open window in dining room permitted flies to enter and land in food and on glassware, an incredibly blatant health code violation. Air conditioning? Heck no! The thermostat was obviously set on swelter. Speaking of violations, the bathrooms were atrociously unkempt, sporting overflowing trash receptacles, bars, broken-off from the wall, were kicked to the base board on the floor. Oh yes, the food — sampling 4 dishes that were poor excuses for any semblance of authentic Thai cuisine, sez it all. Run past, don’t even think about stopping!!!More

Went to eat at Spice with friends while visiting Harvard. Slipped in right before closing time. Friendly and prompt service. Pumpkin curry with chicken was amazing! Everyone enjoyed their dish. No meal is complete without Thai Iced Tea. Always go back every time I am...in town.More

This place was crowded and noisy when we were there. Overhead was a garish flashing heart for Valentine's day. It was so noisy that we found it hard to talk with our new friends. I had some steamed dumplings, which were good, but the drunken...noodles which I ordered were not: the vegetables were soggy and the sauce was too strong. The dishes we ordered came out at very different times, so that some of us had no choice but to start eating long before others were served.More

The food was very good, but the service was rushed and the meals came out at different times. The check was given before the dessert was even served and the staff kept looking over to see if we getting ready to leave. We weren't lingering...and didn't stay long. It put a damper on our celebration.More

I'd craved Thai food our whole time in Boston and was told Thai isn't a specialty of the city. I was delighted when we happened across this restaurant during a tour of the Harvard campus and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff and tasty dishes:...who could ask for more?More
