We were a family of eight enjoying our night till we decided to have portuguese food. The food was really good but the service was ridiculous. If you are looking to be abused and eat great food, this is it. The only waiter at this restaurant was rude, not friendly snd did not care to make sure that all the... More

Feels like a like a family run restaurant in the old European tradition, and the food and service indeed match that billet. Tasty, affordable, friendly without a touch of presumption

A friend and I returned after an absence of several years to Casa Portugal. It was his birthday and his request that we go back to where the “appetizer sausages are flaming in a ceramic pig”. The atmosphere was the same, comfortable, simple with Portuguese ceramics decorating the walls. In addition to the sausage ($10.00) we had the cherrystone clams... More

I was in Cambridge for a conference at Harvard, therefore unfamiliar with the area. Casa Portugal looked decent so we just walked in. The menu was typical Portuguese, no problem there, but I did have a couple of questions. For example, Shrimps Chef, doesn't tell me anything about the preparation, so I asked the waitress to please describe it. She... More

This restaurant is our local, that is, our go-to place to go out when we don't feel like cooking. The food, while not exactly outstanding, is very tasty and a good representation of Portuguese cuisine for a reasonable price (reasonable for Cambridge). The atmosphere is pretty authentic for a small family-run Portuguese restaurant (we've been to Portugal numerous times and... More

I was here many years ago, many times and always left with a good taste in my mouth and a desire to come back. Not now. The food I had was not not distinctive and pretty bland. My wife's fish stew was almost all mussels with very little other fish. My sister's grilled branzini was charred on the bottom and... More

Came here three times for dinner. Loved every single meal, from the excellent food to the casual and relaxed atmosphere. The fish here is the star. Order the grilled sea bream or whatever grilled fish special for the day (one time it was branzini). The way they make it is to-die-for. The fish is complemented by perfectly boiled potatoes and... We were walking in Boston and surprisingly seen the restaurant!! Went in for a Portuguese beer Sagres and couldn't resist to have Ameijoas and Camaroes ao Alho! Definitely great food for a ridiculous low price!! As a Portuguese I highly recommend it!!

The ambient is outdated and simple but the food is fantastic! Service is good but chose a day that is not so full because it is quite slow. They do not have a large area and not a lot of tables but it is charming and family friendly. Try Cod fish Dishes! Just perfect!
