This is our go to place in Harvard square for dinner with our son. Outdoor seating and open bay doors give this restaurant a great feel in the summer. Burgers and sandwiches are great and so are the appetizers and most entrees. We particularly like the fried calamari with fried hot pepper rings, but often get the cheese board and... More

This restaurant is really good. Love the ambience. Love the outside seating. Been here several times. I will say however the portions are rather small. This is not pub food and yet for the price you only get two fillets on the fish and chips that's kind of odd. KC was my waiter he was great!

Had a couple of beers here, and the waiter had an excellent knowledge of the different beers and the service was also very good. Nice place, facing the pavement and watching the people passing by. Did not try the food.

I was on my own and walked into it as it is very attractive from the outside, it has outside seating. It is large inside and very nice. The menu is quite large and offers delicious food! I had oysters (really good) and a glass of wine. There is a a bar and has a very friendly atmosphere. I really... More

Three of us had a business dinner at Grafton Street. It was a lovely evening and their is outdoor dining as well as indoor dining. The menu has enough offerings to please most any pallet. Great location across Harvard Square, attentive service, good food, reasonable prices and alfresco dining. You won't be disappointed.

I took a friend visiting from Australia and heartily recommend this place - it has a very nice atmosphere and the service is good. I had eggs Benedict and my friend had a ham and cheese omelette. Both were excellent - in fact I cpuld not finish mine, Lots of coffee. Will definitely go back.

we went in for dinner. This was the first time in this restaurant, when I go to a restaurant for the first time I ALWAYS order the basic or most simple item on the menu. that tells you all you need to know. My daughter ordered a virgin Mojito. What she got was a glass of lime juice and some... More

We ate on the outdoor patio before going to an author reading at Harvard Bookstore down the street. It was a lovely night in bustling Harvard Square. The food is good, the menu offers varied fare from salads to mussels to pizza to salmon dinners at reasonable prices. But the service was outstanding from waiter Kai. He was attentive, polite... We chose to have dinner at Grafton Street because of their dog friendly seating on the patio. They had a good beer selection with local beers, and their dining menu was equally as diverse. The food was solid - we really enjoyed the beer salad and calamari. My brother got the burger, and they split his side option with a... More

I did not like the food; it was tasteless. I did not want to write this, but, all the plates needed a special magical ingredient. Everything was too plane. The lamb's flavor was lamb, not a delicious lamb. The shepherd's entree was too dry. The ground lamb should be instead more moist. Btw, the potato did not have salt. The... More

Description
Opened in 1996, Grafton Street Pub & Grill has been a beloved institution of Harvard Square for almost two decades. This neighborhood hotspot is named after the spirited cobblestone-lined shopping district in Dublin's famed Temple Bar area. Grafton Street deftly combines the warmth and coziness of a traditional neighborhood pub with the aesthetic of a contemporary restaurant. During the summer months, guests can enjoy al fresco dining on Grafton Street's spacious sidewalk patio. The restaurant offers full bar service and boasts a seasonally-changing wine list with over 75 varieties, as well as a robust selection of craft beers from several local breweries.
