Went for lunch on a recent visit with our daughter. We needed a place with outdoor tables so we could take our pup. The patio is very nice. We had a pizza and salads and a burger to split. Everything was satisfying and acceptable, just not memorable. Come for the ambiance, not to be impressed by the food. They have... More

I've eaten here a few times with wife and/or friends - always reliably good. A key advantage is the location on the east side of Harvard Square, a quick walk from the Harvard Art Museum, the Harvard Film Archive, etc. Menu is basic American, good-sized portions (wife has brought home half the entree at least once), and in the $20-$25... We went to Grafton Street at 11 p.m. on a Friday to take advantage of their $1 oyster special. We each had a glass of white wine (Sauvignon blanc) and 9 oysters. The oysters were Spearpoints from Martha's Vineyard. They were cleanly opened and excellent. Briny enough and sweet, infinitely better than the bargain bluepoints we have run into at... More

I have eaten at this restaurant in Harvard Square many times and have always enjoyed my meal. The drinks are good with a large menu of craft beers. I was seated outside in a small area enjoying my meal when a couple with a large dog were seated beside us. I have a severe allergy to dogs. My eyes began... More

A nice little spot just outside Harvard. Good Irish pub with a nice ambiance. The food was good, but not particularly noteworthy. Probably just the neighbourhood, but the prices were a little rich for the fair being offered. Still compares well with other places in the area.

This is our go to place in Harvard square for dinner with our son. Outdoor seating and open bay doors give this restaurant a great feel in the summer. Burgers and sandwiches are great and so are the appetizers and most entrees. We particularly like the fried calamari with fried hot pepper rings, but often get the cheese board and... More

This restaurant is really good. Love the ambience. Love the outside seating. Been here several times. I will say however the portions are rather small. This is not pub food and yet for the price you only get two fillets on the fish and chips that's kind of odd. KC was my waiter he was great!

Had a couple of beers here, and the waiter had an excellent knowledge of the different beers and the service was also very good. Nice place, facing the pavement and watching the people passing by. Did not try the food.

I was on my own and walked into it as it is very attractive from the outside, it has outside seating. It is large inside and very nice. The menu is quite large and offers delicious food! I had oysters (really good) and a glass of wine. There is a a bar and has a very friendly atmosphere. I really... More

Three of us had a business dinner at Grafton Street. It was a lovely evening and their is outdoor dining as well as indoor dining. The menu has enough offerings to please most any pallet. Great location across Harvard Square, attentive service, good food, reasonable prices and alfresco dining. You won't be disappointed.

Thank Laurie H

Opened in 1996, Grafton Street Pub & Grill has been a beloved institution of Harvard Square for almost two decades. This neighborhood hotspot is named after the spirited cobblestone-lined shopping district in Dublin's famed Temple Bar area. Grafton Street deftly combines the warmth and coziness of a traditional neighborhood pub with the aesthetic of a contemporary restaurant. During the summer months, guests can enjoy al fresco dining on Grafton Street's spacious sidewalk patio. The restaurant offers full bar service and boasts a seasonally-changing wine list with over 75 varieties, as well as a robust selection of craft beers from several local breweries.
