Very nice clean restaurant in the Marlowe Hotel. Atmosphere was elegant yet relaxing. They initially delivered the wrong order to our table, but immediately apologized and left the meals for us to enjoy at no charge. Our order was then delivered and was delicious. The staff was attentive, but didn't "hover". We would definitely eat there again. Not far from... More

Stayed here a few times over summer of 2016. loved the idea of the drinks at 5pm. Ask for Chris at the bar - quite possibly the nicest barman in Boston/Cambridge. Restaurant great for breakfast and dinner - not yet had the chance to test at lunch.

How hard is it to prepare eggs? My omelet was runny on the inside and brown on the outside. I had to send it back, thank goodness they got it right the second time around. The service was also slow as molasses.

We ate at the Bambara twice while on a recent trip to the Boston area. Our first time was out of convenience, as it is located in the Hotel Marlowe where we were staying. We were very pleased with the appetizers and salads, I had the heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad. We tried The Boston Tea Party from the long... More

We got in Boston after a long day of travel. Settled in our hotel room, decided we'd just have a quick bite in the hotel, so we ended up in Bambara. Simple menu but very well prepared food. We shared the Dip and Schmere and a heirloom tomato salad - delicious. A couple of glasses of wine. Totally hit the... More

This is the best restaurant near the Hotel Marlowe. In fact, it's in the hotel itself. I ate breakfast here and had a good omelet, home fries, sausage and coffee. The front desk applied my "raid the bar" credit to my breakfast bill, which was cool. Eat here instead of going to one of the crappy chains in the Galleria.

Celebrated an anniversary dinner at this restaurant while staying at the Hotel Marlow. Excellent food - lobster sliders are the best around. Service can be a little slow but we don't like to be rushed anyways.

Staff was awesome. Food was great! wine by the 1/2 bottle is recommended if dining alone. It's connected to the hotel Marlowe, very convenient.

The place is cozy with a nice full bar. Nice appetisers, incl crab cakes and lamb chops. The mains were ok, quite on the dry side (chicken, halibut). Due to the group's size, I didn't expect a really memorable meal, but it should have been at least great quality. Service was the highlight, being friendly and helpful.

Had a great dinner last night, attentive service and cool ambiance! The scallops were huge and had them grilled instead of seared and they came out perfectly cooked! We will be back
