This was the best restaurant meal I have had in several months. The food was spectacular. The wine list was admirable. I was so happy to find a number of excellent red wines from Burgundy and Provence for $50-75 a bottle. I had a Bandol and it was excellent. My dinner companion was thrilled to find marrow bones on the... More

Three of us dined on a hot July night, and were warmly welcomed by the staff. We quickly decided upon having the six-course tasting menu, but we also added a couple of extras (octopus a la plancha, and the bone marrow -- both excellent!). Now, outside looks are deceiving, as it certainly looks like nothing special form the outside, but... More

Went for the tasting menu, and we were blown away. The chef took into account food allergies, and seemed to effortlessly substitute with something appropriate. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. We got a recommendation for a wine- a Savenniere- that was also absolutely incredible. This counts among one of the best culinary experiences to date. Would highly recommend,... More

I love this foodie paradise in the middle of Cambridge. From the outside it appears to be another curbside eatery. But from the moment you step inside you know this place is different. From the sunken bar that is dark yet inviting to the limited table seating and the bar height counter overlooking the kitchen Craigie is unique. That includes... More

Classic place we got the 6-course tasting menu. Everything was good - not too full but not too light, each course is beautifully presented, staff was great, I had a fantastic non-alcoholic shrub. I was not wow'd or underwhelmed, everything was great but within expectations of paying for it. It's definitely a classic place worth one visit.

Went to Craigie on Main for dinner during heh 4th of July week-end. This is a very busy and noisy restaurant that has a varied and interesting menu. They seem to love cooking their pigs here. Pigs tail as an appetizer, pigs head as an entrée, the middle of the pig (pork 3 ways) in between. You can order a... More

They certainly know how to treat folks celebrating a special occasion: service and friendliness extraordinaire by Emilio and others. You can sense the camaraderie. And, yes, the food: properly chilled, lightly spiced Great Island Oysters; Pennsylvania Dutch Country Chicken with nicely fried chicken leg and flavorful breast that sliced like butter, delicious veggies; Vt. Pork Three Ways, w/ a particularly... More

We had the pre fixe menu and the food was just Ok. Lots of unique dishes to chose from. I had the fried clams for an appetizer and the striped bass for the entree. Our entire party ordered the peach sorbet for dessert. We weren't told that they were out of it and plum sorbet just showed up at our... More

Went here as a complete surprise with a good friend and I can say this was quite the experience. The restaurant is beautiful with lovely seating and I LOVE how the kitchen is open. Our server was wonderful and so was every other aspect of service (hostess, runners etc), very knowledgeable and informative. We ended up doing the 8 course... More

Don't expect a high-end formal restaurant here. This is a lively and noisy place, with open kitchen, paper tablemaps and a large bread basket. People drink and have fun. Food is OK. I did not try the wine. The dish starts with a trio of promising seafood appetizers. Interesting and tasty. I then had the pate-de-campagne for appetizer, which was... More
