Nice restaurant - decorating, lighting and ambiance was nice. The food was below average I ordered the steak frites which was medium rare (brown in middle) and the braised pork (super salty). The menu selections and ingredients look wonderful however nothing had flavor. I ordered a Gilt coupon for this place and was not happy at all with the service... More

The food was ok, nothing to write home about and yet, nothing too terrible. Service was terribly slow. It took them one hour to bring us our dishes and the place wasn't even half full. We came for brunch on Sunday and were seated very close to the kitchen. From our table I could see the kitchen. It seems there... More

The lamb was delicious, but the portion size was very small. Conversation with friends made for an enjoyable evening.

Where do i begin to tell you how bad the service was at this restaurant. We showed up at 4.pm on a Sunday, They told us the bar menu was only available. We were one of three parties in the entire place, but it took them over 70 min to get our food out. It was so pathetic. We were... More

Went here for a post-dinner drink and dessert. The drink menu was very creative - I had the Hibiscus Spritz (see photo). Three of us shared the ice cream dessert (coconut, lavender, and vanilla). It was superb. Service was excellent.

The place is beautiful but we did not have good service nor our meals were great. We have to ask for bread, after 15-20 minutes of being seated. 3 of the meals were undercooked - the Hallibut, the roasted chicken and the steak for the ceasar salad. The lamb dish is too small. I really liked the black beans hamburger.... More

I dig spots that are dimly-lit. Temple Bar carries the low-light classiness a step further with excellent alcohol and stylish menu options.

Went in thinking that this would be a solid dinner spot- about on par w/ Davis Square spots like Foundry or Rosebud. It's something else. Yes, you can get a pizza or a burger (and if you want one, you should!) but there's so much more here. Absolutely, positively try the Grilled Spanish Octopus. Perfectly charred, yet somehow tender.California Asparagus?... More

Reliable place to get good bar food and drinks. The menu changes pretty frequently, but there's always a good burger, a good steak, and good vegetarian choices. The barrel-aged special cocktails are always worth a try.

We had plenty of their excellent draft cider, which we can't get elsewhere. The beet salad was very nice, and everything showed care in preparation
