Starters were excellent! You should provide more Lettuce if want customers to wrap the spring rolls, as your server suggested. Quality of food was great Will surely go back there again!

We had it on Beacon street, but now it is gone. I was glad to find it at Cambridge.. I like their pre-set menu with different choices..Delightful mix cambodian and french food. Dessert is perfectly french. Good place for small celebration.

I was not took keen on returning to Elephant Walk after a very poor showing by their then manager (who was owner's son-in-law), but this was arranged by friends, so I went. Food was very good - servings were a trifle small, but then thats good, right? But the service was poor. Our waitress had no idea about how to... More

We frequently have Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai food, and were pleasantly surprised that the Cambodian food we had was quite different. We especially enjoyed the Somlah Machou, a traditional Khmer noodle soup, Crevettes Amrita, and the spicy trout, but all the dishes the three of us had were excellent. We stayed until closing.

We held our small old-timers' reunion at Elephant Walk, which was a local neighborhood spot for one of our group. The place was quiet on a Monday afternoon, past peak lunch hour. MY friends ordered Salade Cambodgienne and I ordered the Khar Saiko Kroeung (short ribs). My dish was delicious and the others reported positively on theirs. Two of us... More

I can't rate this place highly enough. A great restaurant with an unusual and interesting story behind it. The menu is fantastic, with plenty of interesting choices between Cambodian and French cuisine, all prepared and delivered to an exceptionally high standard. The food is authentic, prepared to recipe's of the owners and their ancestors; they even do cooking classes based... More

Returned here after a long time and was happy to see the variety of quality food was unchanged. Our appetizer of spring rolls, bean sprouts, romain with peanut/oil sauce was a nice combination of flavor and texture. The rare, pan-seared, encrusted tuna (pictured) with two sauces accompanied with scallion raviolis was as delicious as it was unique in presentation. They... More

Parking is terrible, and its better to take the bus or the T to get there. Food is a bit overpriced, and I've had better Indian food in Salem, Waltham, and other parts of Cambridge. Its an institution, and its a very clean and nice restaurant. The menu is not as diverse as I'm seen in other places, but the... More

Used to go this restaurant in their former smaller place in Waltham, MA. Now they have TWO locations in Boston, one here and one on Washington Street. Monday evening dinner w/ friends from Annapolis, MD who are accompanying us on this segment of our three-week vacation from the Annapolis/Baltimore/Washington, D.C. metro area to several parts of New England. The menu... More

We came here for dinner recently and it was a nice romantic place. Parking was easy and we were quickly seated at a table. The item that impressed us the most from this place was the Nataing appetizer. While we were not a fan of the crispy rice it came with, the ground pork and sauce paired really well with... More

Description
The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine. We also feature strong VEGETARIAN and GLUTEN-FREE menus! With so much depth and breadth to our menus, both exotic and familiar, we have something for just about everyone. Cambodian cooking is beautiful and delicious, but still rare in America. Less hot and sweet than Thai, richer and more complex than Vietnamese, the complex spice pastes that are the foundation of many Cambodian dishes reflect Cambodia’s Indian ancestry. Our Cambodian menu features both traditional Cambodian dishes and originals created by our Chef/Owners Longteine and Nadsa de Monteiro, a Cambodian mother-daughter team born and raised in Phnom Penh. Why French too? Cambodia was a French colony for a century, ending in the 1950s. Consequently, our chef-owners were French-educated and grew up speaking French and enjoying French cuisine too. In other words, our Cambodian-and-French theme is an authentic reflection of…us!
