it is not always easy to find a local restaurant in the USA, the Druis serves nice food in a real local atmosphere.

Found this place on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try and so glad I did!! Everyone that worked there was friendly as well as the patrons. Great atmosphere. We ordered the crabcakes (special) and the fish 'n chips. THESE ARE THE BEST FISH N CHIPS I HAVE EVER EATEN. They are served in newspaper and do not need... More

So my husband wanted to reward our kids (middle school/high school) for being subjected to a truly awful road trip from the Carolinas through New Jersey to Massachusetts and found The Druid for the very best brunch/breakfast. Then my kids and husband took me there (long story but I ended up at The Druid!) for the very, very best brunch/breakfast.... More

We stopped in for some beer after dinner. The place is tiny - it seat maybe 12 at the bar and there are a few tables. The beer selection is great - and the bartenders are genuine Irish lads. The decor is very interesting. There was a DJ, who was outrageously loud. So loud that most of us left.

I dream about the Irish Seafood Stew, the fish is perfectly fresh and properly cooked, the sauce is tomatoey and garlicky, coating the lovely fish and toothsome veggies.

Highly recommend either the fish and chips, or hamburger. Both are outstanding. Sometimes the cocktails can be a tad strong [and I do like a potent cocktail] but if you ask nicely, they will bring a bit of seltzer so you can mix and you wish. We like the two dishes mentioned above so much, we haven't tried the rest... More

Fun night out at a very friendly, welcoming environment. Met friends over beer. Great place! Will return.

I stopped in to have a quick bite and a drink or two. The friendly bartended made a recommendation of a fine Irish whiskey for me and explained the story around it. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He greeted everyone who came in like they were a welcome guest. The food was and the service was excellent. If you... More

Maybe I'm a little biased but I missed the harp decorations I'm that we typically saw in Ireland. However, the decor in here was AWESOME. I didn't take pictures of it because when we were standing it was hard not to get pictures of strangers but I loved it. They, thankfully, do not restrict you to the Druids Cider (which... More
