Had dinner with my family in this beautiful place, excellent food and wine, service was top notch. Highly recommended!

Went there for dinner. They made sure there was 2m between tables and hand sanitizers available. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. We had pierogi and chicken and mushroom risotto, both of which were exquisite. For dessert we shared an amazing melt in your mouth chocolate...cake with salted caramel ice cream. Ate it too fast to take a picture. Would reccommend to everyone. All in all a great experience.More

We were staying at the nearby Hotel Geysir and asked them what they would recommend by way of restaurants in the local area (the hotel restaurant was fully booked). They promptly told us that we should go to Restaurant Mika. We were a bit sceptical...about what to expect when we first drove by but were absolutely delighted with what we found inside - both the service and the food were absolutely first class. My partner and I both had langoustine dishes to start which were divine, particularly the langoustine salad (which actually was big enough for a main course, depending on how hungry you are). My partner then had horse stroganoff as a main and I had the grilled chicken. It is a shame we were not staying longer in the area, or I am sure we would have come back again to try out more dishes on the menu.More

The dinner was absolutely fantastic! Beyond delicious. Langoustines, shrimps & wings, cured lamb, mushroom rizotto.. big yum! Great chef and kitchen staff, kind, warm and helpful waiters. It was a very pleasant visit! I wish we lived here and could come every day!

Very good service and terrific food. The fish of the day was catfish/wolffish (steinbítur) and it was incredible! The pizzas were also very good! Overall a fantastic experience.

We had to wait 20 minutes and ask multiple times just to get menus, even though we had reserved a table and been seated by a waiter. And on top of that we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our food who...was in no way worth the wait. Undercooked pizzas and soggy pasta. Granted the staff were overworked but they were in no way willing to give us a discount for our terribly long wait and the manager answered us rudely. We will never go there again and I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy.More

We had to wait an hour for our food, and it was not worth the wait! Then on top of that we didn’t get any discount!! Do not recommend this place, the food was “meh” and the service was slow and rude.

We dropped in for a pizza at lunch, as we were staying in a cabin close by. The pizza was lovely, but what really amazed us was the hand made chocolate. What a surprise to discover such good quality hand made chocolate in the middle...of the countryside! Don't hesitate on the number of chocolates to buy, just buy the big box! It's really worth it!More

Fun place to visit. Food was good and service quick. Situated in the geothermal village of Reykholt on the Golden Circle. We loved it.

We did not have a reservation and were seated relatively quickly. (Be sure to drink the hot chocolate!)
