What an amazing restaurant with fantastic food en super friendly staff! It was our first trip to Iceland and we were lucky we got to know your restaurant! It was also very casual, not to worry if you didn’t dress up after a full day...of exploring. The langoustines were amazing! And great chocolate!😊More

A must visit while doing the Golden Corcle route! The best lobster soup we’ve ever had! Friendly staff, resonable prices and amazing chocolate bar in the entrance to the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Better than expected. Doest look that great from the outside but inside is fine and the food is very good. I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. Iceland is expensive so it was not cheap. But I felt it was a decent price. There is also a...nice wine bar if you turn right. It is interesting in a greenhouse.More

The meat and cheese pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had - such a blend of flavors, and the chocolate was amazing!

Very nice place. Amazing lamb dumplings. Polish vegetarian pierogi was excellent as well. I also had the vegetable salad that was also yummy.

When you enter the restaurant, you expect something simple like burgers, steaks, fish and chips or something similar. But wow, when the starters arrived, we were completely blown away. Great presentation, well-balanced spices, everything, but really everything was just right! The main courses and desserts...were also perfect. We eat out more often, but it has not been this good for a long time. And, what's really great, they can really cook gluten-free and know what works and what doesn't. Highly recommended for people who suffer from coeliac disease. 5 out of 5 stars. Thanks to you!!!!More

We were staying in the Blue Hotel ( just across the road) which was another brilliant find and came to Mika twice in a 3 night stay. Food is wonderful. We had the fish stew, the mushroom risotto and pizzas ( not the ones with...weird combinations!} which were all well seasoned and very tasty. We had a drink each as alcohol prices are steep. Wine and beer are ok. Service was efficient, warm and friendly. Prices are Icelandic. Main meal and two drinks circa £65. Tipping is not routinely expected/added unlike most other countries.More

We stopped here when we were out seeing the sites in the area. It’s close to the Secret Lagoon. Staff was upper friendly and the food was very good. Nice place to stop in.

Food quality is good if somewhat eclectic. The chef seems to have a penchant for sugar and weird combinations (who wants langoustines with a white chocolate dip?). Don’t expect the pizzas get away scot free either, my beef version was covered in a sweet sauce...which was not too unpleasant but not what I’d expect. Every dish had things like raspberry and chilli sauce or chocolate crumb, just plain odd, sorry.More

What a fantastic restaurant! We went there twice, second time to celebrate my Mrs Birthday and the food, service and atmosphere was unbelievable. We had fantastic time, enjoyed very tasty and delicious food with quality wine and excellent service delivered by Hrafndis who was looking...after us at both nights and provided 1st class experience. Highly recommended place, simply cannot miss!More

Was very much looking forward to our visit to mika after reading very positive reviews and it certainly did love up to the hype. For a village with hardly any people the place was packed out! Very friendly staff and an amazing pizza, i’d recommend...the blue cheese pizza, we 100% will be returning here on our next trip.More

Very tasty, beautifully prepared food, lovely atmosphere, friendly, family run business, would highly recommend. It is pricey but we’ve found all restaurants in Iceland to be so (main dishes 4-10,000 kr). They do yummie takeaway pizzas too.

Delicious meal, load of veggie options. The salad was a triumph as was the pizza. We also had the cauliflower and passionfruit soup?!, Arctic Char, mushroom pierogi and lamb. Everyone loved their food. The chefs are flavour sorcerers! They manage to combine savoury, fruity, sweetness...in unusual, suprising and successful ways. The meal was that of taste revelations! Dessert was chocolate creme brulee, delicious!More
