Our family of 8 spent 8 days in Iceland travelling all around the country. You can imagine we got really hungry when we found this great place. The lamb soup was tasty, excellent and the salmon steak, the fish and chips and all other fish...dishes were great. The personnel was very friendly, many thanks to all of them for the great hospitality.More

This exquisite restaurant offers delicious food in a homely setting. I particularly enjoyed fish and chips as well as lamb fillet. Service is friendly and efficient. A highly recommended restaurant for a great lunch.

We had the vegetable soup, lightly salted cod, and raspberry dessert. All were amazing! The homemade bread with butter was a nice addition to soup. The pottery is beautiful and available to purchase.

We had the best time in this lovely little restaurant. We stopped on our way from Seljaladsfoss, as it is only 15 minutes drive from there! I have ordered the lamb soup and it was the best soup I had in all Iceland. My girlfriend...had a salmon, which was also delicious. I strongly recommend to stop in this place, the owners are very nice people, they even have their own pottery, which you can buy as a souvenir and serve all the dishes on them.More

So glad we stopped by here on our way through for lunch. The staff were so friendly and the food was really tasty. They seem very proud of their homemade produce and rightly so. The portions were large but it didn’t mean the quality sufferers

We were staying nearby and decided to try Eldsto for dinner and were very happy with the results. The fish and chips were fantastic and the portions were huge. Our kids raved about the hamburgers as well. Really came away impressed.

We stopped in here for a quick bite before we went on another activity, and we were gutted we couldn't stay longer. The cafe decor and the artwork were charming and gorgeous. And the food was out of this world. Portion sizes were generous, and...food came quickly but I can't begin to do justice to how good it all tasted. The entire place, the food and the service were just wonderful. So glad we stumbled across it.More
