I have ordered a medium rare steak but got more than well done, after complain I got medium rare in color but gummy tasteless thing which I didn't finish. The dinner was delicious and served very promptly. The starter was very subtile mixed taste of ham and fruit on toasted bread. Although the place in many ways appears as a "grab a bite to eat on the go" eatery, the place is actually the restaurant of a 4-star hotel. We had delicious burgers: The burger (meat) appeared homemade (not factory type), salat was fresh and crunchy,...dressing good, but the buns were the very cheapest type. It was high season, and the place was very busy (waited 5-10 minutes for a free table), but the staff did absolutely nothing to make it a better experience, which they could otherwise have succeeded with, had they tried with just minimal effort.More
Not a lot of option in Hella area but this one isn’t too bad. We cautiously stuck to burgers and simple options and they were very good and the service was excellent and attentive. Bistro better than the buffet upstairs which is more expensive.
We ordered three-course meal in advance (3 weeks) and we gave notice day’s before and on same day. We got just what ever they found in a hurry. Water soup with some bit’s of veggies, no flavor at all and no bread on the side....The main was baked vegetables and a grilled aubergine or coliflores, no protein. Desert they forgot to prepare so we got some fruit, but on top was some chocolate syrup that made the fruit taste terrible. Really a terrible experience snd the staff really didn’t know how to handle it.More

My wife just had the Caesar Salad 3.290 kr, which was the Icelandic version, I guess and wasn’t very good. I had the Dish of the Day which was Arctic Char 3.990 kr, which was good. The seating wasn’t all that comfortable and the setting...was more cafeteria than restaurant.More

We all ordered burgers. We found the burgers not to have much flavor. I will say the fries were rather tasty though. Make sure you ask for everything you need when they drop off your food. We did not hear from the waiter again
Wait for 90 minutes for soup and burger, dont recommend this place. Waiters walk by the table multiple times and nobody even checks.
Smal nice restaurant in the Stracta Hotel but it was super cold there. I really think they have to change this, since we felt quite uncomfortable. The restaurant is adjoining the hotel reception and the light grey tiles, and people walking by constantly make it lack any atmosphere unfortunately. The open fridges at the bar area don't help this either. The food itself was decent, and we couldn't complain about the...quality of the food really. It was honestly amazing! My boyfriend had the normal burger and said the same. Very friendly staff too.
