Came to the blue lagoon for a soak and grabbed a quick bite before hitting the water. Service was surprisingly quick and the food was fresh and excellent. One of the most diverse wine selection we found while in Iceland. The prices were slightly higher than our other experiences but expected due to where we were at. Great view and... More

Recommend this restaurant if you purchase the luxury package, because it includes guaranteed reservations and the first glass of bubbly. We had the Lamb chops and fresh fish of the day, both incredibly delicious. Service was good, as well. It was a bit pricey, as expected, for the location. Great views of the blue lagoon.

As said by others It was a bit cafeteria looking. The staff is very nice, the food was presented beautifully. Not tons of choices, but enough. Delicious food. We were surprised that all the entrees were 2900 kr (about $25) and all the entrees were 5900 kr (about $50). I got a nice beef tenderloin, one of our party got... More

I had read a lot of reviews that spoke about this restaurant being over-priced and that the food was only ok. I found this was not the case. The food and service were both very good. As for the pricing, our meal was comparible to similar types of restaurants. We had a great view of the lagoon and would recommend... More

My wife and I could not decide if we call this 'average', or 'very good'. It is somewhere in the middle. The food was good overall, but somehow the experience did not come together properly for the extremely high prices (and we are from NYC). Atmosphere was cool and modern but very stark and lacked some intimacy. If you are... More

Limited menu, presentation and taste were very good. The setting is a bit cafeteria like with table cloths. Service was good. Make a reservation because if you don't they are not very accommodating, I saw them turn people away when they had tables.

Had the 2 course meal for 6200 IKS. Got the langoustine soup and creme brûlée. The soup consisted of a single 1x3 inch chunk of lobster in a somewhat burnt tasting liquid with too much cream on top. The creme brûlée was dense and gelatinous and had no discernible crust, only a few scattered crispy granules of sugar on top.

With such a captive audience they could get away with servince over priced, over cooked, pretentious rubbish. They don't. The food is excellent and fairly well priced given the location and the staff are fabulous. See my full review for more details. 10/10

Pricey but very good - though all food in Iceland is about twice the price of the USA. Had the fish. Reservations and a drink is included in the premium entrance fee.

We arrived expecting a spectacular meal with superb service. Unfortunately neither the food and especially the service didn't not live up to our prior experience. We were so disappointed. I explained our disappointment to the manager who handled the complaints professionally to my satisfaction. We will return to see if they can provide a consistent quality experience.
