Do not pass up the opportunity to overlook the Blue Lagoon while you dine. Good food and pleasant service, just be aware of the price - it's a little costly.

Very upscale and delicious food! We were in Iceland on our honeymoon and the lava restaurant took great care of us. Try the cured beef, best dish I’ve possibly ever had. Beef tenderloin and haddock were amazing, too.

Everything is excellent - food, drinks, ambiance. We had wolfish, Lamb, Steak, Codfish, Lobster soup, Tomato soup and they were all nicely prepared and presented. One of our best meals in Iceland.

My partner booked this as a surprise after the blue lagoon as an expensive treat for my birthday. We usually go away for my birthday and have always been made a fuss off when in a restaurant. No such luck at this restaurant in fact...More

Great service, great wine, the most tender lamb steak we have ever had. And the wolfish was also top notch. We highly recommend the Lava restaurant

We enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Lava restaurant in the Blue Lagoon building. The lagoustine soup was superb and the cod and beef tenderlion were excellent. Worth while a visit.

We had a corner table on the left side, one of the view giving you an actual view of parts of the lagoon. The restaurant is huge and is run like a well-oiled machine. Your orders come very quickly and they manage to book most...More

The food is passable but the overall feeling is that of a large and busy cafeteria. It’s not in any sense a memorable dining experience. If you have a choice, go elsewhere.
