After eating a bison burger back in Florida I thought I would try another here since my aunt recommended this restaurant and took me here. Instead, I had a tough choice between the elk burger and the kodiak burger. I decided on the elk burger and it blew my mind away. So did the interior of the restaurant with the... More

We were only in Springfield for a day while on a road trip and I read about this place on Trip Advisor. If you are in the area it is definitely worth stopping by. The main appeal to us was that they served alligator, frog legs, and crawdads...something we had never had before. What we found was a fun atmosphere... More

Westwoods has the best variety of wild game oriented/inspired food you can find. If you want a break from ordinary burgers and typical meals this is the place to go! Elk Burgers, Duck egg rolls, Bison Burgers or just regular old beef burgers, they are all great! Wings are AWESOME here with many varieties to choose from. Really cool decor... More

Very wide and eclectic menu. The Tackle Box with frog legs and alligator is a must. The wings are excellent as well. The taxidermy in the bar area is very cool and unique. A must visit in Springfield.

There is a lot to like here. It has a very diverse menu with many meats that are uncommon (elk, bison, gator, etc) with some things served in fun ways, like a meal served in a tackle box. Wife loved her chili. I had a horse shoe that was good but not great. I chose the blue cheese sauce but... More

It had been years since we visited Westwoods and decided to give it a try. Server was extremely helpful and attentive. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was extremely sportsmen oriented (hunting, fishing, etc) and although we aren't in to those activities, it was a nice change of pace. We will be back.

Incredible rustic decor in this place! A Lodge definitely describes it, and outdoorsmen won't be disappointed. HUGE, amazing plates of food! Try the Pinecones (yummy balls of fried mashed potatoes) and the portobello fried mushrooms (HUGE and flavorful), or the gigantic YETTI horseshoe (three types of meat and a PILE of fries) served on a wooden foot. Amazing, and only... More
