Takes you back in time with records and pictures of singers back in the 50'& 60's on the wall & checkered tile floor. Great food and plenty of it. Was featured on Triple D with Guy F a few years back. Only open until 2pm and they get crowded. Try it, you'll like it.

Charlie Parkers is iconic. Great food, great building and atmosphere. Breakfast horseshoes are delicious as are the pancakes. Kids and teens will LOVE the place. If you are looking for low cal food maybe not your best choice but nonetheless, its great!

Neat place. Great selection of food. Classic diner menu. Staff nice. Kind of small sitting area. Would try again.

The pancakes are delicious and potentially huge depending on which ones ordered. Fun atmosphere; busy...but still didn't wait long. We also had biscuits and gravy...yum! This is a breakfast & lunch only place. Very reasonable prices.

Tucked away in Springfield, about 4 miles from the Lincoln sites, is this funky little diner in a Quonset hut. Very colorful and retro inside, you can order breakfast and lunch until 2 pm. Check it out, it's a fun place!

Inside a metal semi-circle hut, I accidentally drove past it, but don't you miss it! Enjoyed breakfast and talking to Mike made it even more enjoyable. The portions are good sized and the prices are reasonable. Winner of numerous awards and plenty of memorabilia for those traveling the old Route 66. Try and get there early because this place is... Saw this place advertised in a magazine and had to try it. Owner, staff, and food were terrific! The catfish is not to be missed and it comes as a breakfast. Highly recommend!! The Quonset hut building adds to the charm.

Cool 60's ish themed restaurant. Went there when in town for the Route 66 festival. Great burgers, fries and onion rings. Wife had the fish special which also was good. Place can be very crowded at the lunch hour so we always try to be after that time. This is a famous "Can't miss" place.

Charlie Parkers has great food and the smoothest coffee I have ever had. He is a little on the higher price scale for breakfast. It is in a quonset hut type building. You will not be disappointed in the food.

Thank Cindy W
