I was in a hurry and decided to eat here. A quick sandwich for lunch. I chose Pastrami on rye.I got my food quickly.they are really efficient. The Pastrami was great.wish I would have bought two.A good size not huge portion. They are fast and friendly. I will return.

Close to the old State Capitol building. If you park underground at the Old Capitol, which I would recommend, due to local street parking restrictions, you can walk under the plaza and arrive right at The Feed Store. and the other numerous down town shops and restaurants.

Chicken salad with tomato bisque for one of us and the veggie sandwich for the other of us. Quick service in this Springfield gem

Great spot for lunch. Had mushroom soup and chicken salad sandwich. Delish!! Plenty to eat. Good, relaxed atmosphere.

While I was disappointed with a "meh" chicken salad sandwich, the mushroom bisque more than made up for it. Highly recommend.

A good lunch spot with a variety of sandwiches and soups. When visiting go to the counter and order then they'll seat you and bring your food to you. The sandwiches are generous.

Very popular place for lunch. Take out from this place is very common and they cater to local businesses frequently. My favorite is the cheddar cheese soup as well as their chicken salad sandwich.

Met a local for lunch when going to the Lincoln Museum and Old State Capitol (which is across the street). They offer a daily special with drink (no substitutions) which on this day was cream of spinach soup, chicken salad sandwich and iced tea for about $9. Very good cheesecake. Our friend likes their carrot cake.

Stopped in for lunch after we toured the Lincoln Presidential Museum. I had the chicken salad on a croissant and it was very good. My husband had the tuna salad and a bowl of cream of broccoli soup which he said they were both very good. Located right downtown in front of the Old State Capitol building.

We were looking for a good place to have lunch and had two people recommend the Feed Store. I had a Rueben and it was fantastic my wife had the Chicken Salad that was their specialty and she said it could have had more chicken salad on and also added it was nothing special.
