It boggles my mind that this place is considered "real" Italian food. I've eaten there several times (due to others request as well as catered events) so this review is not based on one bad experience. The food taste like it s out of a can and fairly greasy. The Servers often act like they could care less if you... More

I was on business in Springfield and staying at the Doubletree across the street from the restaurant. It was recommended by the hotel as a great locally owned Italian restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Chicken Parm, which was a generous serving and really good. The atmosphere has a vintage 70's look, which I found appealing. My meal... More

We were very disappointed here. We sat at the bar for cocktails and were never served. After giving up we asked for a table. Women who sat us, finally, was rude and couldn't care less if we ate there or not. Pasta was little more than Chef Boyardee out of a can. Very disappointing for a legacy Springfieldeatery.

Saputo's is one of those Local Legend -type restaurants that I want to give my business to, and try very hard to love. And while the atmosphere is very cool, and the service is always friendly, I have finally had to admit to myself that I much more enjoy being there than actually eating there. The food is just barely... More

I walked in right at 5 which is opening and they got my group of 5 right in. I appreciate their honesty in asking if we would be finished at 6 for their next reservation. Food was good not great and staff were good!! Will come back

The atmosphere is nice, the wait staff is friendly and helpful and the food is good!!!! Saputo's has been been delivering food in that fashion for many years. I have been a patron for over 57 years and enjoyed every meal I have had there. Last week, I had the spaghetti and meatballs (very good) and I usually have the... More

This is a '50's style restaurant: close seating, kinda night club atmosphere, but in my opinion they have the best baked lasagne you can buy. It's very cheesy and a little oily. I almost always take 1/2 home with me. They still have those dinky wine glasses. Full pour, but not tasty out of small goblet. All their food is... More

Old time Italian dishes and delicious - especially their meatballs - a specialty. Medium priced even with a glass of wine. Always crowded.

Great family owned restaurant using old family recipes. Spaghetti and meatballs and Homemade lasagna are great! Nice cozy atmosphere with great service. This is not your "Garden" Italian restaurant-much better food and more interesting!

Great italian meals in a hometown restaurant that has been here for many, many years. The food is very good and served pretty quickly.
