We planned to camp here, but once we got a look at the place we quickly changed our minds. It was really cramped and looked horribly run-down. We stayed at Husafell (a 30-minute drive away and well worth it!)
Loved the “all you can eat” soups especially because you can eat right away as the soups are out for self-service. We loved tasting the 3 different kinds of soups. The burgers were also good and my kids liked the French fries a lot.
The owner boasts and pride himself that everything serves here, he personally raised from his garden. Well, of course except the bread but it is also very good. They served three different types of soup that filled and warmed our tummy and carrot cake thereafter....More

On our way to husafell we decided to stop here for camping after soaking some hours in krauma hot pool (5min car).
Great choice! Good spaces, no crowds (mainly locals), clean and very warm bathrooms, showers included and fair price.

We just passed by this restaurant once and then thought to come back for lunch and were pleasantly surprised! The buffet soup was nice and fish was delicious. The owner is very humble and friendly. Recommended!
