It had been several years since my last meal at Fernando's, and it was as good as I remember. The place could use a deep-cleaning, but the food is dependably good, served piping hot, and service is prompt and friendly. I chose to have what they call their "Fernachos-el-kitchen-sinko".....their great nachos. I order mine made with flour chips. They come... More

Love love Fernando's. This is a unique Mexican restaurant. Their chips are homemade - puffy type tortilla chips. The spinach and artichoke dip is delicious. The food has way more cheese than any other Mexican restaurant I've been to (and that's a lot) - so that's a great thing if you love cheese. If you plan to diet, then don't... More

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday because we had been told to check it out. The atmosphere was as expected, not overly Mexican, but the decor was decent. This is the only Mexican restaurant that I have ever been to that did not provide complimentary chips and salsa. If you wanted them with your meal, it was a... More

The service is fast & friendly, the food is excellent and the portions are worth the price. More of an American Mexican menu, but absolutely delicious. You won't be disappointed.

Seems to be a favorite of locals. The food was very good and portions were large. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our only complaint is the chips and salsa were an extra charge and we didn't realize that. We probably would have ordered them but by the time we realized they had to be ordered our meal was ready.

OK, i can't speak spanish well, but this place was excellent! I'm from Texas and know mexican food and this was as fresh as it gets. Even the salsa (which you have to pay for if you want some) was worth the price. I ordered a 2 enchilada plate (1 beef and 1 chicken) and both were excellent. My wife... More

My wife and I love to come here for the tacos and enchiladas. Try the seafood enchilada. Although they can be very busy during lunch and dinner hours, there is a reason.

I always get great food and good service here. We probably eat here 12 times a year, and the food is always consistent. The chips and salsa are not free, but they are good. I like that they have Cholula at the tables. the portions are big and I usually leave with a to go box. They have a bar... More

We ordered the chili con Queso as an appetizer. It was a block of melted cheddar with a few green onions scattered on top. No chili in it at all. Fish tacos were decent. Tacos were okay. Didnt even request a To Go Box. Easily , the worst Mexican food in Omaha. Once was enough. We will not be back.

Love the enchiladas, the bar is good as well, I just wish they would stop switching between pepsi and coke every other year, but since I stopped drinking pop, it does not matter to me.
