I've been to Omaha's Brazen Head Irish Pub on St. Patrick's Day, and, as you would expect, it's crazy. We stopped in for lunch on a Friday early afternoon to find a much more subdued atmosphere, which was perfect. Our server was quick to greet us and take our order. It was my first lunch experience there, and it was terrific. I chose the prime rib sandwich, which resembled a French dip sandwich, only with prime rib instead of roast beef. It was delicious, as was the cup of the soup of the day, chicken gumbo. Overall, it was a super dining outing.

It's been at least 5 years since we went here. WHY? Well it's well off the paths we normally travel.
It was late November when we stopped early evening when on our way home.
There weren't very many people in the place, but more came is as we ate.
I ordered an Irish beer and the chicken pot pie, she had a boxy, also chicken.
The waitress was great. She was all over the place and don't think she had help until just before we left.
She is obviously young and has a personality for a job with lots of personal interaction.
The beer was a favorite and enjoyed it.
The chicken pot pie was VERY good, I could only eat a little more than half, so I will say it was almost as good 2 days later.
Heartily recommend it.
She said the same about her meal.
Between excellent service and a much above average meal we enjoyed the evening. OH, the onion rings were also good!

Met a friend here recently for lunch last Friday. It was busy and we quickly realized they were understaffed. The wait staff were working hard to served multiple tables but could have used help, not a manager in sight. Our food was very good, nice a hot. We had to ask multiple times for refills on drinks. I hope they get more people hired to help the folks who work there.

Went here on a Monday evening because I saw on their website that they have Kilkenny beer on tap. I can rarely find that in the US and i enjoy it's smooth flavor. So 6 of us showed up and there were plenty of seats for us. The waitress was extremely friendly and on top of everything. The menu has plenty of standard Irish pub meals but also some non-Irish offers as well that looked good. Everyone in our party of 6 liked their selections a lot. I had the Dubb Linn stew and it was very good. I would highly recommend you check them out. When I was looking for places to go in Omaha I saw that they are #1 of 2 Irish pubs. I'm from the Philadelphia which has Irish pubs everwhere and I think Brazen Head will compete with any and outdo most.

Hi Andy! Thank you so much for stopping in and for providing feedback. We will be sure to give Maddie (the Monday night Server) a pat on the back! Hopefully you can stop again soon and be sure to ask about our Draught Cocktails. We get creative and can layer Kilkenny with any number of delicious brews. Thanks again!

This is the freaking place to be in Omaha on St. Patrick’s Day! Tent out front! Lots of happy people dressed in green (however, the staff was dressed in blue today)! Live music in the back! Friendly staff moving fast and working hard! The kitchen was on a limited menu today, so my wife and I ordered a couple of Guinness and an order of Fish-n-Chips. The fish was tasty! What a great way to begin our time in Omaha! Look forward to returning and trying more food when you have your kitchen busting out all menu items. Sláinte! (3/17/21)

We do not normally go to Irish Pubs....noting against the, just not a lot in our area. Friend took us to Brazen Head during a recent visit to Omaha and my-oh-my, what a pleasant surprise. We tried three different versions of the Boxty, a potato pancake stuffed with your favorites and it was amazing. Service too was good and prices are reasonable.

Busy place!! Met my friends here for drinks and dinner on a Friday night. The place was packed and service was slow as a result. Food and drink was tasty... nothing too special but it has a great atmosphere and vibe.

When you dine in an Irish bar, you can rest assured when the Irish travelers pick it as well, you’ve probably selected well. Fresh Guinness, plenty of Irish beers on tap, and well staffed. My nephew swears his burger was the best he’s ever had. My Toad in the Hole had the most amazing potatoes. The entire table had to try them and decided if we ever came back, we’d all order it! Reasonable prices, great service, plenty of seating options.
Two of us had the house soup - an Irish creamy onion- that was unique and well flavored. Definitely worth trying.

We came for dinner on Wednesday at 6pm, and it was very busy and noisy. I could hardly hear my family speak at the table. The service was excellent, and the food came out fast even though they were very busy. I had the Irish Nachos, and the rest of my family ordered fish and chips. We were all very satisfied with our food. I would suggest coming at a time when it is not so crowded.

I had the bangers and mash. Very taste. Nothing like a warm dish and a Guiness on a colder night. The service was good. I had a nice table looking into the bar. They have done this place right!

Good solid food. Prime rib sandwich on Saturday night is a great deal. Beers aplenty. Atmosphere is authentic. Location good—lots of parking.

We stopped in after the UNO hockey game. Brody was our bartender. He was a bit off the cuff at the start. I didn’t take this as a bad thing, simply age difference. The service got slower and slower. He was drinking shots and chatting with other employees to the point we had to walk around to the front bar area to get his attention. We asked for our check 3times before receiving it. Normally enjoy this restaurant, not tonight.

This place has a good vibe and delicious eats. Fish is good like most places out east and Western Europe. Service was excellent and the guy drinking Guinness at Noon was the clincher.
