This was to be an anniversary dinner with friends. It was nowhere nearly as festive as anticipated. Pretty much your run-of -the-mill Mom and Pop Greek place. No pizzaz.

If you like real Greek food, Jim and Jennies Greek Village in Omaha, NE is the place for you! They have a daily special...today it was Mediterranean Chicken. This comes with Greek potatoes, salad/soup, and a veggie. I added the desert, home-made banana walnut cheese cake. First, we shared the Saganaki (OPAH)! Wow, what a feast. This was a business... I had only been to a few Greek restaurants over the years so when I accepted this invitation to go to Jim and Jennie's Greek Village I was a bit leery while thinking about the heavy garlic and heartburn I got after the previous times. Well let me tell you, the food was SCRUMPTIOUS . I previewed the menu before... More

This place has amazing food, I eat here monthly. I have tried all kinds of things on the menu and have never had a bad meal. It is a family owned business and run very well. Oddly enough, you should try the onion rings.

Anyone can go out and eat corned beef and cabbage, a Reuben sandwich, or boiled potatoes on St. Patrick's Day, so for something different a colleague and I decided on authentic Greek food for lunch. And were very glad we did. I've been to Jim and Jennies, as well as ordered take out, many times over the years and have... More

We came here on the recommendation of my Omaha student attending Northwestern College in Iowa. We were not disappointed. The freshly made spanapolika melted in our mouths. The pork loin kabob was cooked just right. Our friendly waiter provided good advice. The setting is informal, but comfortable. I would go again.

We visit here often. The food is amazing. There is an excellent chance that the owners will be working while you are there. They are super friendly, and service is always great.
