The whiskey filet was great. The salad bar was fine. The whiskey strip was chewy. Service was very good We had reservations at 5:30. Seated promptly. Good bread.

I have been traveling to Omaha weekly for the past 3 years and have frequented many restaurants in the area. For steaks this is my go to place. All the times I have been there, it has always been great. I tend to gravitate to the specials not on the menu and always get the Whiskey Marinade. The drinks and... More

Visited Drover while in Omaha for a business trip after hearing from a few locals that it was the best steak to eat in Omaha.. There was 10 of us all together and when we walked in for a table the guy scoffed when we told him we didn't have a reservation"as we didn't know we needed one".. We were... More

We have heard about the Drover for years and it was great to finally get to experience this superb restaurant. It is not easy to get a reservation here so make sure to call well in advance. HINT: If you don't have a reservation, there still are some slots that become available if you are willing to wait around and... More

We ate here on the recommendation of local friends and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is a little tired but that is not what you should be going there for. Their whiskey marinade is incredible. And they have a good old-school salad bar. They do take reservations and you should make one as this place is VERY popular with... More

Ate here with business associates while in town for a meeting. My ribeye was one of the best I've ever had. It is pricey but the quality of food is worth it.

Excellent cuts of beef. Prime rib is a generous cut and was served as requested! Just a little surprised how dark restaurant is! Service was good!

This is our favorite place in town to get steak. The whiskey filet is so yummy. If your expecting fancy decor, the Drover is not for you.... It is very rustic and decorated in western/cowboy style. But if you want a steak that melts in your mouth, go to the Drover!

I came for the steak. I ordered the whiskey ribeye because whiskey Filet is what they are famous for, but. I love fattier cut off meat. The steak is underwhelming. It was maybe half inch thick at best, it was a average steak at best But they have the greatest service at the bar, and you can't beat the conversation... More

I had the whiskey filet. It melted in my mouth. Excellent! The service was friendly and efficient. You don't need to dress up for the Drover--there were all levels of dress there (but really, you should try to look presentable when going out for such great food.) The salad bar is the difference between 4 and 5 stars. It was... More
