My husband and I used to frequent Ted and Wally's when we lived a bit closer, but now we only stop in on date night's downtown. This is hands down my favorite ice cream shop in Omaha. Their plain ice creams (their french vanilla and dutch chocolate) are both delicious. I always "sample" many of the options, and almost always... More

I waited in line for half an hour to try the ice cream based on a recommendation from a co-worker. The line was out the door and I ended up waiting half an hour. The ice cream was actually really good. They have some normal flavors and some crazy combinations too.

After walking around the old market area all day, this is a wonderful break. They do not have 31 different flavors....however, the flavors that do have are incredibly smooth and flavorful. A nice stop!

Awesome desserts here! I enjoyed the cantaloupe ice cream and my husband had a chocolate malt. So yummy and worth the wait on a hot Saturday night! I was also happy they had a baby-changing table in the women's restroom for my son. Would definitely visit here again.

Ted & Wally's has very good ice cream. The also have interesting flavors, some of which don't sound all that great until you taste them. They will let you sample whatever you want. There is not much seating, but it is easy to wander around the Old Market to eat your ice cream.

The flavors are usually delicious and they rotate them on a daily basis. The Dutch Chocolate has been good to me. The lines are long in the evenings so go early. The prices are high, 2 adults and 3 kids - $29.00. Um. Crazy. The malt that I asked to be made thick came back like a glass of milk.... More

If demand is an indicator, the line at this place certainly would tell you something. Either that or their marketing is at a level that approaches genius! As many have said, the line for this place never really goes down. It is long and slow, so expect that and enjoy it! We went at night after the sun went down,... More

If you are an ice cream junky you have to come here. I had the bourbon caramel coffee ice cream and it was terrific. Sample what you want and then choose, This is not your basic vanilla, chocolate strawberry place but much, much better.
