This was our second stop at Ted & Wally's for waffle cones with delicious flavored ice creams. Highly recommend skipping the dessert menu at your Old Market dinner stop and swinging by this darling ice cream shop. I had some delicious salted caramel scoop and the kids had a rose or blood orange lemon sorbet. Regular flavors and shakes are... More

My friend and I stopped in for a mid-afternoon treat on a wonderful Saturday afternoon. Our ice cream was heavenly.

This is an ice cream 'Shoppe' in the Old Market! The ice cream and gelato are par excellence and delicious. Great establishment to visit after dinner for a wonderful 'snack':)

You stand in line and watch as someone adds something to the ice cream maker. Very old fashion and in a renovated garage, this is a great ice cream parlor. I got fresh made yogurt--chocolate capuchin or something like that--in a waffle cone. I could have eaten two! the ice cream was also fresh and looked delicious. There were lots... More

I'm not a huge ice cream fan, but there are always exceptions to the rule and rules are meant to be broken. Ted & Wally's is a long standing institution with a small daily menu of home made icecream, and a long line of people waiting to sample favorites and new alike. The Monarch butterfly ice cream was awesome, one... More

We discovered this place by accident when walking around the Old Market area on a weekend visit to Omaha. We attempted to go on a Saturday night about 7:45 but the line extended through the whole store and well into the parking area. It looked like at least a 45 minute wait so we passed. We happened to have an... More

You know it's some awesome Ice cream when people are lined up out the door to get it! So go BEFORE supper...lol! Really, it is quite a treat- flavors you cant find anywhere else. Last time I was there I had apple cinnamon sorbet...man- just made my mouth water!

This is an old time ice cream shop. We were allowed to taste test a few before deciding on the Dutch chocolate and vanilla bean (I know, I know, but they were too good to ignore). This place has been around since 1986 and doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon. Let's hope that's right. Go there.
