This place has been around for ever. It is always a great meal. Not on the main drag and it would be easy to miss in the residential setting. But worth the hunt.

Sweet red sauce and had made pasta choices! Yummmmmm. Great service and a fun family feel. Only recommendation would be better house wine option.

Nothing says class like Carlo Rossi by the glass. Service was that of a poorly run diner *. Wine was served in glasses that were far too small for the portion. Food was decent ***

Family run Italian restaurant, that truly cares about customers. Food is amazing, and huge portions. They offer 1/2 portions which is still alot. Homemade ravioli, pasta, and sauce. The menu choices are plentiful and even the most picky eater will fall in love with their food.

I have been here several times, and the food is great. A little on the expensive side, but well worth a visit every once in awhile. You won't be sorry you ate there.

This is a family owned Italian resturant in the southwest Omaha downtown. The area around here is really starting to look up with many of the houses and apartments being renovated and this area seems safe to park and walk in. The resturant is really busy on a Saturday night but closes early at 9:00pm so reserve if you are... More

Every bite was a delight. I had lasagna and my wife had Egg Plant. We enjoyed this meal and promised to come back.

This was a fun place to eat because it had a homey atmosphere located right in the middle of an older neighborhood blending in with the homes on the block. It is Family restaurant that his excellent reputation in the area. They do not take reservations so I called to see when we could get in without a long wait.... More

My daughter suggested that we go here for a casual lunch. Not being an Italian fan I was hesitant but was outvoted. It is a little out of the way cafe with parking being the only problem I saw as far as convenience. The menu was quite adequate, but the waitress was very difficult to understand. She didn't write anything... More

Malara's has good homemade pasta and their sauce is really good as well. It is family owned and I like that. It's tucked away in the neighborhood and you would never know it was there if you didn't look for it. The portions are good sized and smaller, half size portions are available. My wife loves the lasagna, I always... More
