Perhaps my expectations were just too high. But for 6:30 on a Sunday night, I found this much too noisy and busy. The food was average. The waiter did pretty well when he was with us, but disappeared frequently for quite some time. I will say their green tea ice cream, though tasty, was somewhat mealy and over priced. My... More

The sushi was okay...not spectacular, but it was okay. Things are a bit overpriced. The disappointment was the time it took to get our drinks and our order. We waited and waited and waited. When we finally asked our waiter what was taking so long he laughed and made the comment that we were his favorite table because we were... More

I really ate a lot, but I paid for it too. I got two appetizers, three orders of nigri, and two rolls along with dessert and a drink. I could probably get away with eating half that much so I'd say dinner will run you about $25.

I've been to this location several times. One of things I love is the reverse happy hour. After the "traditional happy hour" you can wait three hours later....and go back and get the cheaper prices for appetizers and drinks. The food is awesome. I love the vegetable fried rice and all of the veggie sushi rolls. You can have these... More

Despite not having a seacoast, Omaha has great sushi at Hiro. The special combination plate worked great for two people and service was prompt. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night so pretty loud, but overall a great find in downtown Omaha.

Great sushi for the value during reverse happy hour. We ordered about 8 rolls and some Chinese food. This time we went during reverse happy hour and it was well worth it. I would probably not go again because at regular prices it's too expensive for the amount of fish you actually get. Admittedly being from the coast of California... More

Fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive, and the sashimi was fresh. We ordered 3 rolls and sashimi and all was beautifully presented, and also tasty. Highly recommended!
