Had an early dinner here 10-15-16. Service was excellent. Room spacious, quiet. Easy to have a good conversation for four. I was the only one asking for a glass of wine, and what was brought was just what I wanted: a deep red blend, warm and comforting. Two of our party shared the trout, and it was plenty for them;... I was in town with a group for work and this place was universally recommended for a nice dinner. It did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. The server was very knowledgable about cocktails and the menu and we all sampled the excellent craft cocktails. One of my dinner companions got a sampler entrée of pork prepared different ways and... Visiting Omaha wife found this place after reading reviews so we joined 4 other friends, also from OOT, for dinner. Being part of Midtown Crossing complex parking easy and free for 3 hours. Welcomed promptly, very classy but not "over baked" interior. Server, Morgan, was attentive as was bus person. moderate number but complete selection of dishes, which says much... More

We visited The Grey Plume after researching some of the restaurants and reviews in Omaha. The Grey Plume offers an upscale dining experience and we were generally pleased with our experience and food here too. The menu is interesting and flavors have been crafted and designed to offer some unique food combinations. Since this was our first visit we stuck... More

Maybe I had too high of expectation? The good: the amuse bouche and the charcuterie board were excellent. The wine list is not strong enough for the caliber of food they are (allegedly) serving. The $28 meatless pasta plate that came with no more than 9 rigatoni noodles (we counted) was disappointing and the entire main course uninspiring and bland.... More

Good Afternoon Miss Gina, I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out to apologize for the unpleasant experience you had with us recently. It is certainly our goal for guests to leave the restaurant inspired and to feel great about their meal. While I will not make concessions for our missteps, I simply want to offer... More

We learned that dining at the Grey Plume is an event to be experienced when you have the time to do so. Our dining experience lasted three hours and we were educated thoroughly on all of the offerings on the menu that we inquired about. Our entrees arrived at the table nearly an hour after ordering, and luckily, we were... More

Grey Plume came highly recommended from multiple sources...and they were on point. Restaurant was conveniently located to our hotel in midtown crossing. Atmosphere was approachable fine dining... i.e. dress nice casual.. no need for jacket ..service was great. Attentive and helpful without being stuffy or overbearing. The food was excellent. Duck fat fries, pasta, wahoo (fish) and donut dessert were... More

At an auction we bid on and won a gift certificate to this classy restaurant. We dined there on my husband's birthday, and it was truly a special place to celebrate. The menu is special, designed around locally grown food, tastefully prepared. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. The presentation elegant. Of course, the price was also "elegant."

We found "The Grey Plume" on Yelp, so we had no idea what to expect. But, we were very pleased. The menu changes constantly with the goal of delivering locally produced or connected dishes. They served an Irish Whiskey, "Writers Tear", Manhattan that was wonderful! I can't figure out what the local connection to Omaha is, but it was delicious!... More

We met some really great and friendly people here during happy hour. The menu is NOT budget friendly during any other time since this appears to be a more upscale place and the prices reflect it. The bartender was engaging and made some really good suggestions. They have a lot of "duck themed" dishes, including the french fries, which I... More
