We like this place. A variety of food is offered. Great seafood, beef, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and pizza. We had the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, onions, tomato, bacon and eggs. Very tasty, as was my wife’s black bean soup. The warm board...is outstanding, with charcuterie, cheese, nuts, olives and like. Our guest raved about his BBQ chicken pizza. Lots of gluten free options. God service and fair prices. Recommended.More

I do believe we will be back. Atmosphere, service, foor were all good. Ordered Cast Iron biscuit and Red Eye gravy and it was actually served with a sausage white gravy. Disappointed but it was still good.

A great place to eat! We made a last minute reservation last Saturday night. The place was hopping and loud with activity. Our table was near the front door. Two of us got the French onion soup that was fantastic, hot and full of flavor....I had the aged pork loin with potatoes and very dark looking carrots. The carrots were super charred and under done but I didn’t mind since the remaining portions were very generous. We’ll be back to try more items on the menu.More

Really good food both times I've been, and that staff has been friendly and accommodating (pretty normal in Omaha :-)). This restaurant has taken the location of the beloved Bookworm bookstore, which has moved over to 90th and Center, and I'm glad the space is...being used in this way. I live nearby, and will certainly go again.More

Went for the first time with another couple. We ordered the artichoke gratin for an appetizer. Our waitress mentioned there would be plenty for four people. As it turned out, the portion size much smaller than expected. We had the pizza, chicken salad, and chicken...schnitzel for our entree. The schnitzel breading was hard, and one of the orders had little to no mashed potatoes. There was cold air blowing on us where we sat. At first I felt it was coming from the air conditioning vent but later realized it was coming in from outside.More

Came for dinner with friends. Erica was an amazing server. Great personality and professionalism! Started with drinks and artichoke gratin. Had pizza, chicken salad, margarita pizza and chicken schnitzel stack. Everything was great. Only criticism was the breading on schnitzel was very thick and the...basil was all chopped up on pizza. Bourbon pecan pie was to die for.More

Had never been to this place before but was told that I would enjoy it, I found this to be very true. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, excellent environment, didn't have to yell to converse, prompt service. Great experience all around.

$22 for a head of iceberg lettuce, dressing, and bacon bits is not a good value for Omaha. The dressing was mediocre and the lettuce wedge had rust on the bottom leaf. This would not have been a winner at a quarter of the price....I imagine anything else on the menu would have been a better choice.More

Restaurant was nice atmosphere and service was okay. Entrees served too quickly, coming seconds after appetizer had been served! I prefer having time to enjoy each course. While food was not bad it was not anything that wowed us either.

I’ve been to Timber Wood Fire Bistro now several times. This was the first brunch foray, and it was delicious! Timber has yet to disappoint for brunch, lunch or dinner. Delicious food. Polite and professional wait staff. Always an enjoyable time!
